UPDATE: Keisha, the owner, gave me a call about my review and the conversation was so professional and actually felt like an inviting hug after the previous interaction. I Absolutely appreciated this call. She started this business ground up and she had a great spirit about her! She has 2 locations! The second one is in Altadena (Dena Strong💪🏽).
I will visit the location one day because I am for supporting Black Business. God bless her and continue to bless her. So I’ll change from 1 star to 4 😊
So, I just called and asked about different items this hair supply store carries. Whomever I spoke to seemed like she was NOT in the mood to speak to ppl. Not even a “is there anything else I could help you with?” Nor “ok, Have a nice day, Bye”
I thanked her for answering my questions and got nothing but Click! It cost $0 to have decent customer service. I wanted to come here because it’s closer to me than the one I go to in Pasadena. Nope! Pasadena will continue to get my funds

I am always buying braiding hair from this place, and noticed they did hair. Yesterday I called to book an appointment early in the morning, instead I was told to leave my info and someone would call me back. 5 hours went by so I tried calling but got a voicemail box that wasn't even hooked up. You try to support black business's but they never treat their customers with tlc
Okay I still stand by what I said! Yes you're correct about this being a beauty supply but you guys are still connected to the salon. Furthermore when you look it up on Google the salon doesn't automatically come up. Secondly, when my daughter and I walked in the lady who sent us over to the salon wasn't too friendly. Still all in all, it took a few days for someone to contact. I'm only changing my review because my daughter loved her hair.

The owner is a lovely lady ! She was very helpful, the store is clean and tidy, full stock of products and lots of super fun kanekelon hair colors to choose from. I’ll definitely be coming back !

Be careful my husband had the police called on him by the owner over her believing that he was rude to one of her lying employees.
My family and I have spent thousands of dollars in her store and salon she has cameras in her store and knows exactly what happen calling the police was a harsh thing she did I didn't know she was so cold hearted.
A few day's later her and the lying employee saw my husband at Starbucks right across the street from her business and Keisha and her lying employee tried to talk to him and he was not having it for one both of them seem like trouble Ya'll called the police on my husband over a lie I hope you get some serious training for yourself and your employees they are very rude and nasty and for you to be an owner of these businesses you should be ashamed of yourself taking folks money then calling the police over a lie there are two sides to every story.

Don't forget this location offers more than a hair and cosmetology academy. There is a small well stocked hair/wig store inside as well. It sells to the public and offers hair supplies, jewelry, sunglasses, make up etc. Conveniently located on the corner of Magnolia and Huntington on the same side as Starbucks near Marshalls. I highly recommend it. The service is welcoming. I bet the student stylist and barbers would be happy to assist you with installs or any hair styling needs. Parking is limited. But, it is worth a short walk. The prices are notably competitive.

Usually everyone is super professional and kind here. But sadly, the person today at the register was so short tempered, rude, and micro aggressive. Maybe she was having a bad day but she looks extremely unhappy in general. I will continue to support the business but hopefully Emma the rude cashier remedies her attitude

Everyone has bad days so I will be liberal with the rating as this was my first visit to this beauty supply. There was a good selection. My only complaint is the customer service was very dry. All the right things were said but the tone was not inviting. I’ll give it another shot at a later date.

The policy is trash the store is horrible, granted you get cuts and press like kids are doing but at a good price that's it.. and the store i asked to return braiding hair that i was allergic to but didn't know until it was put in my hair and i had to go to the hospital so the rest of the packs I couldn't get money back just an exchange which was horrible cause the selves were damn near empty this store/company is the worst like the chinese even refund for a good cause??♀️ and my press was horrible
