My daughter got her ears pierced, and the two young ladies did an amazing job. She cried, of course, but now she keeps looking in the mirror admiring her earrings. Thank you!!

When piercing your ears do not use the cross ear rings. They keeped snagging when I slept. As soon as I got them done I knew they were a mistake. I wish they weren't a choice, or the girl would of said something before I did it. Now they're infected. I had to remove them.

We went to Claire's on the Friday before Memorial Day and Stephanie was working by herself. The store was fairly busy, and she was the only one to run the cash register and the ear piercing station. There were several people waiting for ear piercings, and at least one actually left due to the store not having adequate staffing. But Stephanie was great! She was so calm and helpful in what was a stressful situation. She was multitasking, making sure to take care of everyone. I have to say, I was a little hesitant, hoping that our ear piercing experience wasn't going to be rushed through. There were five of us, and three were my triplet nieces who were getting their ears pierced for the first time. My sister and I were getting our second holes done. The girls were extremely nervous and fearful. Stephanie was such a professional! She was patient and her calm demeanor helped quell my nieces fears. Even though she had to run back and forth to the register, and assist other customers, she did a great job of juggling all these responsibilities. She made sure the holes were perfectly placed, and we were so very happy that she was the one who gave us this great memory to look back on. She patiently explained all the different earrings and packages. We ended up buying the Yellow gold CZ studs. They look amazing on, and sparkle a lot. We've worn them swimming and they still look as beautiful as they did in the store. So very pleased with Stephanie for all her help, patience and recommendations that day. I'd give her more stars if I could!

Terrible location, they are always short staffed, never properly cleaned, and not very attentive to customers. Not to mention most of the girls here use a piercing gun after only being at the store for two weeks!! I asked about a month ago and the girl told me she just got hired the week prior and already got to do piercings. Definitely by far the worst Claire’s I have been to. Used to be a little better but not by very much.

They were negligent with my daughter's ear piercing! She is in excruciating pain, and they made her bleed all over due to their incompetence and faulty equipment! Then the lady suddenly pierced another hole next to the bleeding one without saying anything or giving the option for that one to heal 1st and come back in a few weeks to try again!

Only this location at Montclair mall - poor customer service . Went in as a walk in just now for my daughter who wanted her ear pierce. Remind you she is in a wheelchair due to broken foot. The only person there working said I would have to wait a few minutes which I was ok with ... then proceeded to say I had to wait an hour since another person was coming in - there was only us and another customer in the store . I asked we had to have an appt she said no but she was busy and couldn't do it and told a kiosk outside the store does them ... wow unbelievable ... she wa s just lazy and didn't want to do it . If she is management she is stirring business away ....this location in on 1st by Barnes ans nobles

The lady working on Tuesday, 5/10/22 opening shift made it such a hassle to deal with. I took my 18 year old little sister to get her ears pierced, i haven't been here in years so I wasn't aware of their new policies. I ask her about the ear piercings and she tells me "you need to purchase the stater earrings and the service is free". She couldn't even be bothered to tell me where they were at or how we go about this, at first. I did not know you need an ID to get them done or a parent/legal guardian present if you do not have one. I talked to her before we looked at the earrings you have to purchase, not once did she mention anything. So there we were wasting time looking at earrings and she couldn't be bothered to disclose what we needed to even be serviced. She is still a senior in HS so she doesn't have one yet. I'm not sure why they don't advertise this or disclose this policy on their banners advertising their "free" ear piercings. That I can understand, because it's policy and obviously she has no control over it. What annoyed me was how she made it such a hassle, asking all these questions about who am I to her, who is my grandma to her, saying that someone needs to show ID (I left my purse in the car) so I'm telling my grandma if she can pull out her ID. She's right next to us, and clearly hears me telling my grandma this and sees my grandma pulling it out her purse. Just for her to tell us a parent needs to be here and show ID. What I don't understand, what was the whole point of asking all these questions, making it seem like someone just needed to present ID, making my grandma take out her ID just for her to tell us no. It was pretty obvious she was purposely wasting our time knowing she couldn't help us. She is a shorter girl with black hair, I'm not sure if she's a manager but if you ever visit this Claire's and come across her, trust me you will know who she is by her passive aggressive demeanor.

I ordered a pair of earrings for my daughter for Valentine's. Sunday 2/13/22 ordered before 4:47 for 2 hour pickup and never got my order to pickup. Waited all day Valentines Day. Nothing Today received an email my order was cancel. They had a quite a few pairs when I went in but ordered online cuz everything is 50% off. In store the deal is not valid. Close this store
