“This place is awesome!!! Took my son to see the Mario Galaxy movie, and they asked if I had a membership. I didn't and asked what it does, and after an explanation, I signed up. It got me a free popcorn! How cool is that! On top of that, we went on a Sunday before 6 and tickets were super cheap because of it! Highly reccomend to anyone near the Whittier area!??”

“This is my go to place whenever I’m in Downey. Esther was very welcoming and attentive. She noticed me being very indecisive of what to buy and she recommended me a few options and she nailed them. So thanks Esther!”
“Nice store in the mall. Similar or equal to all others in the world chain.
Was looking for sugar free chocolate and they had a couple of choices.”
“The employees are courteous and knowledgeable. The wide-selection of candy is vast. You have new candy and nostalgic candy. I spend hours in the store making the perfect decisions, but I wish I could take it all.”
“I would like to take a moment to thank Jennifer & the staff for being so kind to me. I was so embarrassed but they made me feel safe. Thank you all so much for helping me literally get to my feet. ❤ 😊😊”
“I had such a great experience at See’s Candies in Downey! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The store is clean, well-organized, and has that classic, nostalgic charm that makes shopping there enjoyable every time.
The customer service was truly outstanding. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles, answered all my questions patiently, and made helpful recommendations without being pushy. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
The pricing is also great for the quality you receive. See’s always delivers on freshness and flavor, and this location definitely upholds that standard. Whether you’re picking up a gift or just treating yourself, this Downey store makes the whole experience feel special. I’ll definitely be back! 🍫”

“Stopped at a few diff candy stores and this shop was the best one, not because of the low prices on their selection. But because a team member named Michelle made my daughters party amazing with the help and selection she offered. Ask for Michelle for all your party needs”
“Ive shopped at Candy 4 Less for the past 4 birthday parties I’ve had for my daughter and everytime I have had a positive experience! They go above and beyond, even making me centerpieces in the character to match our party theme. The store has everything you need and the prices are reasonable. Excellent customer service! Stephanie is so helpful and just an all around pleasant person!”
“They came through with a custom pinata request in a clutch. I have a disco themed birthday party planned in 4 days and came into their store yesterday and asked if they had a disco ball pinata on hand. They didn't, but they checked to see if they could get their hands on one by next Thursday in time for the event. They managed to get the pinata in a day.
Candy Kravins, you are a life saver. This will go with the custom disco related cake I'm having made.”
“We were helped out instantly walking in. We went there to pick up a customized piñata for my daughter. I had my daughter I had my daughter she was excited to see everything in the store I let the owners know that it’s her birthday and they were so kind to get a cupcake with a candle and they sang happy birthday to her. Very sweet. The piñata is perfectly made as well.”
“All I can say is their cookies are fantastic. Rose, cardamom, saffron. Need I say more??? Come one, come all. I can't say I've visited the factory but I'm sure there are some fine people working there.”
“Ordered a custom-made piñata from this place for an affordable price and it turned out amazing! Only thing is they delivered a bit after the agreed date, but I was still given the piñata before the event.”
“The only candy shop in the Grand Central Market.Plenty of sugary and non sugary confections. You can also find culturally traditional sweet treats as well. There is no self serve like many typical candy shop. Cost is relatively high but it is on par to what you would expect to pay in downtown. The attendant was rather friendly and patient during our visit. There plenty of candy to choose from.”
“I love this place. The help is friendly. They always have what I want here. Much better than Godiva chocolate.. if you haven't tried it, don't hesitate it's amazing.”
“Excellent place to get all your party favors. Great customer service. Been a customer for over 20 years and I have had all I need for any party at Piñata World. Staff is so awesome and if you’ve ever had the owner help with whatever you need for a party this is the best place to find her. Thank you, Blanca, for always being so kind to my mother and us all. God bless…”
“Great prices overall. They have always been nice and helpful to me and my employees. They tend to run out of the hotter Hostess items from time to time but at that point so has the competition. They also deliver to the local area if you have a big enough order and this has been a huge help as I have multiple stores to deal with and can't spend my entire day shopping for all of them.”
“Very friendly personnel, fair prices. I Always find the balloons that I need for my events. Good quality latex balloons. This is the go to place for party supplies!”
“DLB party supply is great! We have used them for tables, chairs, and a bounce house for three events. Their prices and services are great! Always prompt communication and friendly service. We are grateful for them!”
“I got a mango smoothie and bacon dog for $7 total everything seemed to be lowest possible price. Friendly employee who greeted me in Spanish then changed to English. I like to know the shops and street vendors where I can practice Spanish in preparation for more trips to Mexico, Central America, and South America. Self serve condiments are nice too. Free to take as much toppings as you want for the hot dogs.”
“An absolute treasure! I gave them only 5 stars because it will not let me give them more! My business has been candy for years. These are the very best people. Always helpful, honest, and friendly. Easy to work with from the sales staff, through the office, and into the warehouse! I read some reviews here that speak about a language issue. Never, not once have I had any issues at all, language or otherwise. If you sell or stock candy, T J Candy is a must. Oh, did i mention the immense selection of candy or the great prices on top of the service?”

“Mark was the best we could hope for. Me and my friend were buying candy for my girlfriend and he perfectly curated a fire box for her. He even let us try a bunch of candy. Really kind guy, and makes me want to go back just for him.”
