When looking for a new hat I choose to shop at Lids. Unfortunately the one located in the Montebello Town Center left me less than satisfied. I bought four hats three with custom embroidery. Two of the three were embroidered very crooked. This was totally unacceptable, especially with the amount of money I spent. I ended up having to wait for them to re-embroider and still weren’t straight but better so they reimbursed me for the embroidery.Will I continue to shop at lids…..probably.I do suggest to carefully look over your purchase to make sure you’re getting what you paid for.

Very helpful, took my embroidery at 7:50pm they close at 8pmThey knew I was going out of town the next day for a game and they were able to do two hats for me awesome team!

It was our first time coming here yesterday. There was a young man working by himself and he seemed to be doing something with the engraving machinery when we walked in at about 7:08pm. My husband approached him to ask if he could choose any hat for a personal engraving. He made zero eye contacted and pointed at the wall behind him and as the rest of his body turned back to the machine he said, "but we're done with engravings today". I suggest you hire an additional person to assist customers if it's complicated for someone to answer a question while working on a task. In addition, update your store hours to 7:10p.m. instead of 8p.m. since there's no customer service nor engraving services available for what it seems like after 7p.m.

This place deserves 0 stars. I've Been in customer service for 6+ years I'm very aware of the kindness the job involves when dealing with the public. I came in yesterday to get hats for my husbands birthday I walked in spoke to all 3 employees that were at the register " hello" the woman stared at me saying nothing that was my first indication this wasn't going to be good experience ALREADY while I'm looking she's just standing staring. I'm 5'4 I was on my TIPPY TOES trying to get hats down NOT 1 employee asked if I needed help. They all WATCHED this was around 1:45-2pm check the cameras mangers! While I'm still looking a Hispanic man walked in ALL 3 employees said " hello welcome in" as a black female in a prominent Hispanic mall and being half Mexican MYSELF I was so taken aback by the blatant racism it was disgusting I looked at them and walked out while I'm leaving out the mall why did they have MALL SECURITY follow me all the way out the doors while I proceeded to take my business to a different mall this is disgusting and unacceptable I've never had such terrible customer service.

I went to get my grandson's first hat embroidered with his name on it. I chose varsity font and the guy working gave me a different font. He didn't want to fix it. He said because i signed the receipt he can't fix it because it's what Was on the receipt. Even though I showed him which font I wanted. The embroidery came out so bad ! I was very upset that he ruined my grandson's first hat. Look at the pictures of the L and E. Horrible job

I needed embroidery work done on a hat, and my design was not simple lettering. It was complicated trying to get the machine to work with my file. The store manager Valerie took her time and patiently went out of her way to make it happen for me. Anthony was super helpful too. They stayed late to make sure I got the perfect embroidery. I appreciate the service here!

Walked into Lids today 9/8/21 . Didn't get a hello or any type of acknowledgment from the employee or the employee she was training . Walked around the store a few times and they didn't ask if I needed help. I usually walk out stores if i'm not greeted , i'm ready to spend money but lucky for Lids I found the hat I was looking for. Also the hat was priced at 44 and change and online it was priced at 41 . I explained to the rep that on the lids website it was listed at a different price but she gave me an excuse about lids being owned by fanatics. Still doesn't explain the price difference. Didn't get her name but she did have a fresh tattoo . Anyway I won't be coming back wouldn't suggest anyone shopping at this lids store

Worker their was very rude and didn’t want to help out a college student with getting their graduation stash embroidery. Every other Lids is willing to help out students. You just lost a customer ?
