“I'm not sure how I've waited so long to review The Cub House, but here we are. They've been my go to bike shop for a while now. They have a lot of cool gear, bikes, bike frames, components and accessories. Great staff all around too, who are always helpful.
Luigi was a pleasure to work with on a custom build. He helped pick out parts and answered questions throughout the process too. It turned out great and Mattie helped with the final fit. Simon helped with a small tweak to the bike afterwards (I assume the build itself too :-D). Can't forget Danny with my initial inquiry into the whole process.”

“We've been to this nursery for 2 large purchases. One for a handful for privacy laurels and another for a massive haul of fruit trees.
All the staff are super friendly and helpful. They will drive you around and help load trees up if you need help. They even had guys help load 6 trees into our truck so they'd survive the trip.
If you wait for a seasonal sale you can get great deals from what I've seen. Like a 15g Babcock peach for $65 (I think). I've seen 5g sell at list price for 40-60 at other places.
24" box were more expensive to their 15g counterparts than I would've hoped ($125 list vs 400). But we're patient and decided to buy 3 15g instead of one 24".
My only complaint was the delivery price. While still cheaper than other nurseries, it was basically the cost of another tree.
Pro tip: if you dont have one, rent a uhaul pickup for the day (less than $50). Garden View employees saw us starting to load and came over and basically loaded everything up professionally (including securing w the ratchet straps we brought). All I had to do was unload at home.
For garden view: a free delivery for purchases over $800 or $1000 would be awesome and encourage customers to buy just a few more plants to get the free delivery”
“I called and ordered an arrangement for my daughter’s birthday. Spoke with Barbara and she is absolutely amazing!! She’s so helpful and accommodating. She had the arrangement prepared and delivered to my daughter in under two hours of my call. She sent me text message pictures of the flowers, when the delivery person left and when they were delivered. My daughter LOVED her bouquet, so did I. THANK YOU BARBARA for making my daughter’s birthday extra special.”
“Hidden gem for all plant lovers!!! There are rare and beautiful plants scattered throughout for GREAT prices. If I had done all my plant shopping here I would've saved hundreds, especially with all the price gouging for specific species. Amazing selection and kind staff. I cant wait to go back!”

“Love this little neighborhood nursery. They have everything you could possibly want and more. They have unusual plants that you would never find at Home Depot. You might find the same plants at Armstrong Nursery but you would also be paying almost double what Lincoln Nursery charges. The staff st Lincoln are friendly and very knowledgeable.”
“I’d probably shop here if prices were slightly higher than other nursery options but since it’s slightly cheaper Bellefontaine is a no brainer if you live anywhere in the area. Why? Friendly, knowledgeable service provided by a small, local business that offers fair, competitive pricing.
What’s not there? Fancy merchandising, for one. No displays, no hard sell— walking through the nursery is to navigate a maze in search of treasure. And that’s the other thing: the selection is well curated but not vast. You could call it limited. There are natives but not like Theodore Payne. There are veggies but no like Armstrong.
But unless you seek a Whole Foods experience that leaves you inspired but exhausted, Bellefontaine Nursery has enough gems spread across its many micro-aisles to keep most gardeners sated.”

“Nice nursery with a good selection of plants that has been a mainstay in the area for decades. Known for their use of little red wagons as shopping carts. Their prices on plants and garden supplies are very reasonable and they have discounts for members of area gardens like the LA Arboretum and the Huntington. There is a parking lot located on E El Monte St, and street parking available around it if it is full. If you are looking for something gardening related it is probably the best choice in the area and (better than using a big box store garden center) it is helping a local small business.”
