“My Go-To shop in town for Tequila. The bottle shop in Montecito is one of those places where you can find something for literally anyone. Totally unasumming liquor store from the outside in the middle of Montecito's Coast Village Road, jam packed with everything from food, liquour, wine, beer, and NA beverages. One couldn't possible sift through everything available for purchase in just one visit. Both the Owner Mark and his son Christian are always so friendly and willing to help find exactly what you're looking for.”

“Just met the owners/family at the Santa Barbara Roar and Pour. By far the best table at the event and the friendliest! They also had the best wines out of everyone there. I will definitely be heading to there shop for more wine.”

“I have been purchasing my wine from Meritage Wine Market for years. At 73, this is the best wine store experience of my Life.Their emails, presenting excellent wines at the lowest available prices, are invaluable. Since Bob Wesley left, I have dealt almost exclusively with Noah.Noah is so helpful, extremely knowledgeable and wonderful.”

“Great little store in the heart of Summerland. Once a bar my Father would stop into on the way to town while in the military in the 50's & 60's when the 101 ran through the center of town . Classic Summerland, great friendly staff, and they have almost anything you might be looking for .”

“The only liquor store I go to in Santa Barbara, always the best collections of liquor and wine! They have a great selections of snacks for those long car rides and random cute Santa Barbara attire. The staff is always really nice and they even let you bring your dog in, if your on a walk or on a run and need to grab a water or gatorade! It's best liquor store on Milpas St!”

“Fathi is awesome. Genuinely, it's been a pleasure to have met and built a relationship with him. Great conversations and stories can be had there, along with a wide variety of your "grab and go" convenience needs on the Westside of Santa Barbara. The early bird DOES NOT catch the written here though!”

“The Waterfront Snack Shack is one of those places you may not give a lot of thought to, but this Gem of a Business is something Special!Richard and his wife Dolly own this Family run Boat Launch Institution. Now that Summer is Kicking off they've Enlisted the well paid help: their Grandsons Dash and Jack .Richard is a Korean War Veteran, as a fellow Veteran we are Kindered spirits. Spending time chatting I sometimes help deploy the Flags. The Snack Shack Hot Dog is World Famous with locals, Visitors, and Celebraties. Their pictures adorn the the walls throughout the building. “Fantastic wine shop featuring a wide variety of wines at reasonable prices. The owner has an encyclopedic knowledge of the wines she carries and can make some good recommendations. Don't let the ambiance fool you, this is a serious shop. Parking is in the back.”

“The one star reviews are absolutely hilarious to me. Everyone that works at this store is great, and they do their job exceptionally well! No prices on the products, but that doesn't matter seeing as you're at a super small CONVENIENT corner store rather than your local Supermarket. I've seen some comments about people buying things close to the expiration date and all I have to say is read the expiration like the rest of us do before grabbing the item! Everything here is DECENTLY priced and CONVENIENT And especially for being RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY. Hopefully this sways you from the random terrible comments!”

“we are new to the area and decided to give this shop a try. we walked in and it already looked legit...we immediately saw an excellent selection of European and domestic wines at all price points. the man and woman working in there, who I think are the owners, were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and we left with a selection of very interesting wines that they helped us select. they said that they also do tastings and wine dinners so we signed up for their mailing list and are excited to attend some of them in the future. highly recommended.”

“I was able to find smoked turkey leg which I use to make Hoppin' John. Also I found two other items which I have not been able to find in other stores: farmer's cheese and the Danish peppermint candies in the Jelly Belly bulk section. Thank you, Gelson's!”

“Crown liquors is a great spot for a wide variety of alcohol beverages with affordable prices ranging from beers to hard liquor with an endless supply.Numerous amounts of cigarettes with name brand and off brand if you prefer.Customer service is very professional, always greeting you at the door, at the counter when ready to pay, once before departing very polite and always smiling. The cleanliness of the store is unbeatable, I couldn't ask for anything more, smells fresh, counters and other areas are always disinfected along with all the windows and door handles, everything is in order from the different variations of chips, soda, coffee, juice and many other of your favorite snacks of choice. One thing I love about this place is everytime I walk in, the atmosphere is amazing, I feel comfortable that I can find anything that I am craving such as my coca cola, and when I can't find what I'm looking for witch is not very often, I simply ask the clerk and they walk over and guide me to where this specific item is, if you are looking for something like this then Crown Liquor is your only choice.Crown Liquor is my number one store for all my necessities.”

“Ate brunch here for Easter. It was fabulous but also so much! It was a price fixe menu with 3 courses and fresh squeezed orange juice or mimosas. The first course was a large house made cinnamon roll with icing and two different amazing flaky cornmeal biscuits. The second course was a versatile buffet with everything from kale salad to fruity scones. The third course was an entree that we could pick. My daughter ordered the most delicious lemon ricotta pancakes with a blueberry compote and I ordered shrimp and grits (my favorite dish) but we were way too full to eat them so we just took them to go and ate them the next day. Sooo delicious but so much food!”

“Solid neighborhood liquor store carrying a respectable selection of both premium and discount brands. Staff are friendly. Outside of the Von's supermarket down the street or the very pricy Lazy Acres across the street this is the closest place to get liquor on the Mesa.”

“Always friendly, good place to pick up a quick drink or snack. There are always people coming and going. Very busy place. Usually plenty of parking, but sometimes the parking lot can get full. You just never know. I go here all the time for lottery tickets, and NO I haven't won!”

“Basic but convenient little store. They don't make 'em like this anymore. I know that Talevi's recently moved to the building next door from their prior location, but walking in is something of a time warp to a simpler era. It's very old school inside which I enjoy - but is kept very clean and organized. I've found Talevi's to have a good selection of booze, especially craft beer. I enjoy the beer area tucked away into a back corner of the shop. This place also has your standard snacks and merchandise as well, and I've never found their shelves to be empty or unorganized. The staff are all very friendly, especially the owner. Customer service at mom-n-pop convenience stores can be a hit or a miss, so it's rather refreshing to see that this place cares about the customer. It's reasons like this that make me want to come back here again.”

“I love this place when I need booze. I can pay online, give them an hour, and then show up, and my order will be waiting. It's so easy. Often, what I order is on sale so I save money, and they often have liquor that other stores don't have.”

“You might want to buy your lottery tickets here. Each time I've bought a lottery ticket here, I've managed to win a few bucks. It's crazy. I believe this store is going to hit it big one day. Mark my words.Get your Powerball and your Mega Millions here”

“I recently had my baby shower at the lovely and charming back patio of the Garden Market with about 25 people. We had a buffet lunch with sandwiches, salad, quiche, ravioli, mimosas, lemonade, tea, and carrot cake. Everyone said that the food was delicious and the ambiance was delightful! We were also able to bring in decorations of our own, which was great. Thank you to Tamara DeMatteo and her staff for the excellent service! It made for a truly memorable occasion. I would highly recommend this location for your next small event.”
