“The one star reviews are absolutely hilarious to me. Everyone that works at this store is great, and they do their job exceptionally well! No prices on the products, but that doesn't matter seeing as you're at a super small CONVENIENT corner store rather than your local Supermarket. I've seen some comments about people buying things close to the expiration date and all I have to say is read the expiration like the rest of us do before grabbing the item! Everything here is DECENTLY priced and CONVENIENT And especially for being RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY. Hopefully this sways you from the random terrible comments!”

Spending time chatting I sometimes help deploy the Flags. The Snack Shack Hot Dog is World Famous with locals, Visitors, and Celebraties. Their pictures adorn the the walls throughout the building. “Crown liquors is a great spot for a wide variety of alcohol beverages with affordable prices ranging from beers to hard liquor with an endless supply.Numerous amounts of cigarettes with name brand and off brand if you prefer.Customer service is very professional, always greeting you at the door, at the counter when ready to pay, once before departing very polite and always smiling.The cleanliness of the store is unbeatable, I couldn't ask for anything more, smells fresh, counters and other areas are always disinfected along with all the windows and door handles, everything is in order from the different variations of chips, soda, coffee, juice and many other of your favorite snacks of choice.One thing I love about this place is everytime I walk in, the atmosphere is amazing, I feel comfortable that I can find anything that I am craving such as my coca cola, and when I can't find what I'm looking for witch is not very often, I simply ask the clerk and they walk over and guide me to where this specific item is, if you are looking for something like this then Crown Liquor is your only choice.Crown Liquor is my number one store for all my necessities.”

“I sent an email for the afternoon tea a week before the event. I didn’t get a reply so I called. I was told sorry we are sold out , when I told her I had sent an email she honored the reservation and I went with my granddaughter and was sat by a closed door kinda weird but they were nice. The food was average the scones were not tasty , hard, cold … the sandwiches average anyway , it wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible”

“we are new to the area and decided to give this shop a try. we walked in and it already looked legit...we immediately saw an excellent selection of European and domestic wines at all price points. the man and woman working in there, who I think are the owners, were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and we left with a selection of very interesting wines that they helped us select. they said that they also do tastings and wine dinners so we signed up for their mailing list and are excited to attend some of them in the future. highly recommended.”

“Basic but convenient little store. They don't make 'em like this anymore. I know that Talevi's recently moved to the building next door from their prior location, but walking in is something of a time warp to a simpler era. It's very old school inside which I enjoy - but is kept very clean and organized. I've found Talevi's to have a good selection of booze, especially craft beer. I enjoy the beer area tucked away into a back corner of the shop. This place also has your standard snacks and merchandise as well, and I've never found their shelves to be empty or unorganized. The staff are all very friendly, especially the owner. Customer service at mom-n-pop convenience stores can be a hit or a miss, so it's rather refreshing to see that this place cares about the customer. It's reasons like this that make me want to come back here again.”

“I have been walking here from my house in the neighborhood since I could walk; Westside Market has been a staple of the westside for decades. IMPORTANT INFO: THIS is THE only place to buy lighter fluid/butane in I think all of Santa Barbara after 9pm (til midnight!)PS fun fact: Elias used to own this market; he's the best! Now he owns the smoke shop on De La Vina and Mission called Paradise Smoke Shop; pop on over there for all your tobacco and head change needs ? He and his son run an awesome shop! Cheers!”

“Stopped in during a road trip after purchasing gasoline across the way. Gorgeous boutique-style grocery/market with a robust line of freshly prepared ready-to-eat hot/cold foods, fresh baked goods, a juice bar, and a complete line of self-named specialty items to mention some highlights. Floral and produce looked incredible in this midsized shopping mall-type location. All were immaculate during our visit. Prices for the quality staples and unique goods seemed on par with the area, level of service, and variety provided. A bit jealous of the locals as, although I love my local upscale grocery, I need to visit a few different stores to find this assortment in just one location. Our road trip was much more delicious today. Thanks!”
