I am however a user of shower and skin products and I really like those I have bought from The Soap Kitchen. i have used the Shower Steamers. Both the Lavender for relaxing and Breathe for helping with, yes, breathing (maybe you have a head cold). to other items like Rose Hip Seed oil for your skin and So Fresh, So Clean which removes makeup and helps your skin feel great. Even the candles are nice. I highly recommend them. Give them a try. I'm sure you will like them.”

“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”

“What a gem of a shop! You’d be remiss if you don’t stop in. Beautifully curated items that are obviously chosen with intention. They have Le Bon Shoppe socks that I love! And a great selection of greeting cards. This is my go-to store for matcha whisks that are high quality and don’t break the bank. They have lovely natural fragrances and tons of kitchenware, such as plates and utensils. Gorgeous shop. Definitely check it out. Sweet owner too! She so kindly wrapped my gift without me even having to ask! I’m always delighted at what I see when I walk in. It also smells really good in there!!”

“This spot is dope. I've come here multiple times for gifts - great spot for birthdays, Christmas, etc. They have a ton of stationery like notebooks, cards, stickers, merch, and the like. They also have an awesome selection of artists' goods in the back of their store, and books in the front. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, and you can tell the store is very community centered. Love that they provide free masks for those who need them! Everything is pretty reasonably priced, especially for being in this section of Highland Park. I'm always willing to give my money to support small businesses over billionaires, and I hope this store stays around for a while.”

She carries La Vie Parisienne! I went in yesterday and bought a beautiful aquamarine heart for my daughter, it is her birthstone and almost her birthday! They wrapped it gorgeously for me! I also bought a cute Louis Sherry tin chocolate box with an Easter bunny on the lid. It is soooo cute. I love all the things I have bought here over the 4 years or so it's been on Mission.
