Jewelry making section with all the various gems/crystals. Tons of crystals, candles, sound bowls, books, and other related fun items. The staff is warm, engaging, and friendly. We felt like we were hanging out at our cool cousin’s house!”
“I went earlier today and I loved it. It was so beautiful and everything was so unique. I bought a really cool ring there and I can’t get enough of it. Along with some bracelets and a Dodger hoodie. 10/10 service and the people were so nice. Definitely going back and definitely recommend going there.”
“I've been here twice and I've walked out a few times with a bunch of figures. I wish I grabbed the Cell figure from there. Other than that, this place is really great and the employees have always been friendly. If you guys want figures for a reasonable and good price, I recommend going to this store.”

6630 Hollywood Blvd D, Los Angeles“Hollywood souvenir city is a very beautiful souvenir shop in Hollywood. All souvenir items is reasonable price I seen. Thank you for good customer service with very friendly. Thank you so much “ Hollywood souvenir city”.”
“Such a unique store with unique, fun and interesting merchandise. I'm so happy this mom and pop store has been able to thrive over the years as it truly is a favorite to visit in my town and it's terribly hard to be in business these days. They do such a good job with their Instagram page and promoting their awesome themed art shows and various art events. I love their annual pet show as always come home with portraits of my dog from the artists that attend. I love that you can order online. They helped out a lot during the pandemic. They are always so helpful when you go in too. This last weekend I went in to find some Valentine's Day gifts for family members and sure enough left with some fun goodies. Love shopping along Colorado And Eagle Rock Blvds.”
“I LOVE this place!! I've never been able to get any Arknights merch even at anime expo. So seeing it here was so awesome. A lot of genshin stuff too if you're into that. I'm an avid cat girl fan and a LOT of the stuff they have here are cat girls so this place was literally heaven.”
“Jessica helped me over the phone in securing a last available pair of AKILA frames. Being here in CLT and F.D.G.S. in LA - I couldn't have asked for better customer service and she was so accommodating! If all small businesses were run like F.D.G.S. - we wouldn't have such a demand for the big box stores! A++”
“One of the best automotive museums in the world. The collections change often so worth going back a few times per year. Parking is expensive ($21) in the garage.”

369 N Fairfax Ave #1, Los Angeles“I have never enter this store but I did wait for my brother in the car meanwhile he got a Siddur for me. I observed how the owner walked with my brother towards the books and probably explained to him what the book was for. It took me a while to read the Siddur. Know that I read it every morning and night, I’m very happy with it. May God continue to bless this shop. ?”
“Love this family of artists, especially ‘Mom’ Ofelia Esparza. She’s my hero! Patiently lived her life as a wife and mother. Attend med college became a teacher and after that was able to fully release her focus and time to ‘creating’. She’s proof that it truly is never to late to do the thing you were created to do! Bravo Ofelia! As for your studio and shop... I enjoy going there to take in all the creativity. The prices are bery reasonable too! Can’t wIttiñ you open again!”

340 1st St, Los Angeles“Must visit in Little Tokyo! Precious business continuing history while updating their contents to what’s relevant to today’s audiences. Don’t forget to check out the second floor for old music cassette collections, handmade candles, and imported artisan goods from Japan.”
“I love this store! I could spend hours perusing everything they have for sale. So unique and creative! Plus, it's connected to the La Luz de Jesus art gallery, that's always a treat. Short drive from the Griffith Observatory!”
“This is the best shop in all of Little Tokyo. Super legit, non-touristy at all, and filled with really cool books, prints, antiques and sculptures. The owner is great to talk to and is really passionate about the community. I now have a ton of recommendations for art and cultural events in the neighborhood! The store is cash only, so make sure to come prepared.”
“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”
“Amazing selection of records and other ephemera. My boyfriend got really into Gundam recently and I was so happy to find a first pressing of an OST for the second film here. Legacy businesses like these are what makes Little Tokyo special.”
“Some of the most beautiful flower bouquets that I have both purchased and been gifted from. I absolutely love the attention to details and how each one is uniquely made for the special person. Blooms on Beverly became my favorite flower shop and I know I will continue to come support this business for every special occasion in the future!?”

414 E 2nd St, Los Angeles“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”
“My favorite place to shop for gift for loved ones and myself. They have incredible themes throughout the shop and lots of variety to choose from. This shop has very kind staff that brings so much warmth to their customers making it a very comforting and enjoyable experience every time you are shopping. ?️?”

“Lots and lots of gifts to buy at this store. Very decorated and stacked. I came to Chinatown during new years and it's all filled in red! Bought a magnet for $4 in cash and the item was wrapped in a red envelope. Guy at the register was nice and gave me a business card when I asked what the place's name was”

7523 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles“You know when you discover an item in a store that you didn’t buy because you didn’t feel like you needed it but then you can’t get it out of your mind for days so you finally come back and bring it home with you with glee? The Give Store has somehow managed to curate an entire store of these unique, covetable, artisanal items. We are on our way there right now to bring home a subtle but beautiful fragrance that has haunted our dreams for weeks in the most delicious way.”

431 S Los Angeles St, Los Angeles“If you're looking for Body Oils, Oil Burners, Soaps, Lotions, and Skin Butters all handmade, then this is the place. They have so many fragrances, even those you find in Department stores and Malls. Did I mention that they also sale Reading glasses? Your One Stop Shop. There is no parking so I suggest you park across the street in the parking garage.”
“Had an amazing experience shopping at the Cathedral Gift Shop. From the moment they answered the phone, they were very receptive in helping me pick out the best wreath for my apartment. Because I was not able to see the wreaths in person because of COVID restrictions, the lady I spoke with on the phone texted me options of different styles of wreaths with prices. They were all very pretty! I ended up choosing this gold one because it matched best with my furniture. When I told her that I lived on the same street of the Cathedral, the staff was very helpful in accommodating me for a speedy in-store pick-up. I absolutely love my wreath and it's surely putting me in the Advent spirit! God bless all!”

946 Mei Ling Wy, Los Angeles“An artist you will want to support!!
I absolutely fell in love with the adorable and aesthetic designs of the prints, stickers, and shirts this shop offers! I mean just look at the chunky babies sticker pack I got - who would not love those cuties??
The shop owner/attendant was so friendly and the sweetest human being. I will definitely be purchasing from their online shop in the future!”
“Clean store, many options to buy, and I did walk down a few more blocks and I saw better prices. The employeesdid not talk much so friendliness was not on their list for the day. Pretty much the whole strip has the same things.”
“Not sure if she was the owner, but the lady at the counter was incredibly kind! There were so many cute options to choose from- stationary, plushies, and so much more! It was a great experience and a huge recommend from me!”
“Pygmy Hippo Shoppe is a neighborhood gem, filled with unique gifts, one of a kind greeting cards, and the most fun vibe of any gift store I've eve been in. Located just off of Beverly on Stanley, walking into this tiny store is a small eureka moment: you've found a special store. The window display says it all. Do yourself a favor the next time you need a unique gift or a one of a kind greeting card - come amble down Beverly, make a quick right(or left as the case may be) and discover this store.”
“This is a beautiful shop for gifts, jewelry, home goods, and generally uplifting one’s environment. I always find way too many awesome items here. It’s my go to spot for gifts, feels intimate, and is so well curated. It also makes me happy to shop in my Eagle Rock neighborhood first!”
