They also do consignment for limited edition Jordan's, Yeezies, and other sneakers. The worker who helped us was very friendly and helpful, and the store is very organized and clean. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in Monterey...”
“Monterey Hot Topic is the best one I have ever shopped at. The store is always clean and easy to shop. Everything is where it should be and makes sense to the shopper. My youngest is a hardcore HT customer and only likes going into this location. From the first time I walked into this location customer service is more than amazing it's personal. They all take the time to look at my account and see my past purchases to make sure I'm not getting the same items or when I can't figure out what to get they suggest similar items. I have held the position in retail from a new associate all the way to DM and I would hire each person in there because of their outstanding customer service and dedication. In the 2 yrs that my kid and I have been shopping here I have never had a bad experience.”
“I’m not a fan of gift shops, but this place was special. I wish I could remember their names; the woman with the red hair who likely closed the in the afternoon was so friendly, as was the younger dude who opened when we came back in the morning. T shirts that change colors in the sun, hoodies made of fantastic materials like neat burlap, though they have the normal fare if you like. Good tchotchkes too. 100% recommend this shop and their staff.”

“This condensed Pebble Beach store says outlet! Almost everything for kids, men, and women was reduced 40% to 70%. Of course I found a great deal on a front opening very pink jacket with logo at a discount And some cute tennis shorts for grand kids at 70 % off

“We're always greeted and the staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. The store's layout is very wide, not deep, so this difference can make it seem difficult to scan for what you're looking for - at least for our family. The store does display a number of items I don't remember seeing at the other Zumiez we go to.It's easy to find, at the end of the outdoor mall near the theater. There are a lot of other stores appealing to youth down at that part of the mall so it can get crowded and with just one dressing room we've often had to wait in line for a bit.”

“We stayed at the Intercontinental hotel which is basically right next to this store. It had some very cute clothes. I didn't expect it to be so chilly and we didn't exactly pack for cooler weather. I purchased some very nice sweatshirts. They were about $70 each. They were very nice quality and worth the price. There were some clearance sweatshirts around $25. Lots of souvenirs that were priced fairly well. The employees working were SO kind and so helpful. We were greeted when we walked into the store. I love that about a place. I hate when you walk into a shop and the workers just stare at you.”
“This little boutique is one of my wife's go-to locations. She was searching for a few clothing items and she didn't come away disappointed. The staff is always helpful and friendly.The boutique seems to always be busy and at times can be congested. But a lovely little shop for unique clothing items and gifts.”

“This is an incredible store. The staff at this particular location are much friendlier and attentive than at my home store. We were greeted as we walked into the store, and the staff were quick to assist me in finding just the right shirts and sweaters I was looking for. Even the check out procedure went quickly. The cashier was very well trained and knew exactly what she was doing. I really appreciated the high standards of professionalism I found at this store. The manager here has done a great job training the team members.”

“One of my favorite stores while shopping in this mall.. I found the staff to always be friendly and attentive to customer needs. Unlike some stores where the customer is ignored. I was always greeted with a friendly smile when walking into this place. I loved the variety of merchandise. They always had great shirts. And the latest in patterns. I really liked digging through the sales racks. Always fun to see what bargains I could find. There were always great sweaters too. And such colorful underwear. This store is a great place to shop.”

“I managed to get a great price for four nights in early June and was even given an additional small discount by the person with whom I spoke on the phone. When I arrived, I was told, “That individual no longer works here, and I’m not authorized . . .” And so on. It was a small amount although clearly stated on my receipt.
Aside from that, my room was very clean and presentable. Yes, the lighting is a little harsh except for the bedside lamps. The bed was firm and the furniture in great shape. The Surf Inn is a short and agreeable walk to and from downtown Monterey if you don’t mind walking back up a hill (Cass Street) every evening. There is no more pool as it’s apparently being turned into a patio area of sorts.
Now, as far as the staff, I saw at least two cleaning individuals in the morning, but not once was my room touched during my three full days even though I kept the room in order. Maybe that’s what the trash can in the outdoor passageway was for because that’s how I disposed of my daily trash.
Despite the couple of questionable circumstances, I would probably return to the Surf Inn if I found a similar price for the time of year.”

“This place is PACKED with gorgeous clothing (dont want to label it but to me the overall style felt like a western bohemian), accessories, home decor, and so much more. The store has half womens and half mens, so it was nice for both my husband and i to be able to spend time looking through everything without worrying about whether the other person had enough to look at. The owner obviously adores her store and it definitely shows through all of the items she handpicked and how she’s decorated and maintained this lovely store. Would recommend checking it out.”
