worst experience ever.. starting at vaccines.gov I tried to book a moderna shot at this location.. first the website malfunctions and the voicemail is designed NOT to let you through to book an appointment the old fashioned way.. next when asked which vaccine i prefer they stated that you have to have an appointment for Moderna.. no mention of that on the vaccine.gov or cvs websites(Walkins Welcome they said... what a joke especially for someone disabled and on a cane. I will try at the marina location as usual....) BTW folks I am ADA covered and elderly and I plan on visiting next as both walgreens and cvs in seaside have now both pulled this shit and should NOT be listed as a location on vaccines.gov without addressing these issues

I'm a licensed physician and attempted to call in a new prescription. My call was dropped 3 times, and when trying to leave a message on voice mail, I was told that the mailbox was full. I'm surprised you get even 3 stars!

the only way you really can get your meds on time and get them to do their job is when you have to call them because you’re at risk of literally dying because for some reason they take DAYS to get refills done. all of my epilepsy meds are set to be refilled and ready to pick up either the same day or the next day to line up with how many i have left before the refill so i have enough until i get the refill, i waited 3 DAYS for it to still say on the app that it was still in process, causing me to miss a dose because i was still waiting for it to be ready since they always are ready 2 days before i need them and i was thinking they would probably be ready on the 3rd day of waiting, today would have made it the 4TH DAY of waiting if i didn’t call, takes forever to even get to be able to speak to an actual person, the girl who answered the phone cut me off and was really rude, she told me there was nothing she could do because they are still in process and after i explained to her how long ive been waiting and now i was at risk of a seizure due to missing a dose, she puts me on hold, probably to talk to the actual pharmacist, and then comes back to tell me that they would have my prescription ready by today, with no empathy or a sorry in the world, not even a minute later i got the text saying it was ready to be picked up, didn’t sound like it was in process to me, sounds like it was just sitting there and the pharmacy techs don’t want to do their job. never had this problem before with the one i always go to in gilroy, they are ALWAYS ready the the SAME DAY or the next day because the auto refill knows when you run out, ive have had to pick up my meds in monterey recently and this is the second time this happened which tells me it’s the location and people, not the process, just frustrating, not going to be using this location anymore

Some of the staff needs to be a little more helpful. The store needs to be a little cleaner, but one thing that is awful for the customer, especially the older ones. Is the bathroom's been out of order for 2 years.

I haven't seen this store since my parents stopped here a few times when I was ten years old. They didn't like the high prices and shopped in the Santa Cruz CVS on the mall after that. Inflation has changed a lot of the price differences, but not all of them. Who would pay more than 15 dollars for a notebook? This is still one of the best CVS stores in the Monterey area and I think it was open 24 hours a year ago instead of the Lighthouse Ave. location. It's large and has more items in stock and no long lines or freaky characters like you might find afternoons at the South Salinas location. My line was only 2 or 3 customers.

5 stars specifically for Larry. He is such an informative pharmacist, and really worked with us when the Doctor office had some things screwed up. Larry is the real deal! Bless his heart!

This review is specifically for the woman working at the pharmacy this morning around 10 a.m. your customer service and your greeting was amazing! I try not to go to the pharmacy unless I have too, and this woman was so polite and just had amazing customer service. I felt like I had an awesome day, and I had amazing customer interaction at my job after because of her. Thank you

Worst CVS ever: slow passive aggressive pharmacists that yell at their customers who have to come 2 or 3 times on the same day before they find the prescriptions or get it ready for pick up: poorly organized, no customers service, long lines and inefficient and unwilling to assess insurance coverage by calling for the customer: don't go there unless you have all day to get your pills and like to get snapped at.

Asked pharmacist about aluminum and gabapentin compatibility and he told me “there should be no problem”.He was wrong. I looked it up myself after a sleepless painful night and found they are not compatible.

They stopped sending my Multiple Sclerosis Medicine. Fully paid for. Can't get help from anyone. Been 4 months they have withheld my life saving medicine. Have been transferred to the manager Emad 20 times. He never answers and there is no voicemail. Tonight the front desk manager personally stopped him and asked him to take my call, after being on hold over an hour and he refused. Reached out to corporate and guess what they said......I'll transfer you. I want to live. They don't care. I'll find someone that does.....my attorney????Look at the reviews... every other one is disgusting. This is life and death. What on Earth is wrong with you???

Very friendly and knowledgeable pharmacy staff, and the drive thru window is very convenient. They also carry a lot of toiletries and cosmetics you can't find at other stores. Self check-out registers are also very convenient.
