Inn By The Bay Monterey is a well-maintained property in a safe, central and peaceful location, perfect for exploring everything Monterey has to offer. It is within walking distance to the downtown, waterfront, and Fisherman's Wharf, and just minutes from Cannery Row. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, updated, and thoughtfully designed for comfort with a very comfortable bed. They feature bare floors, a large and recently remodeled bathroom, and come equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. The hotel is dog-friendly and offers parking, though it can be tight. The office staff is kind and friendly. Guests find it to be a good deal for the price, absolutely perfect for a family, and would definitely stay again and recommend it.
My pops and I arrived near midnight and Mary took care of us still providing us a place to sleep. Beds and bathroom were really clean! We were 5min late checking out but Mary accommodated us with a smile on her face. Definitely will stay here again in the future! Thank you Mary!!

Pretty quiet in the rooms. Room is pretty nice for the price. Biggest complaint would be that my room must not be level because the shower door would not stay closed and I tried everything. Parking lot is also pretty tight but doable for a regular vehicle.

I did not quite like this inn. Rooms too small. Beds too high and not very clean. For the price I payed expected a better view. Our view was another building. Parking is very limited too which made parking another challenge.
