The Stevenson Monterey is a charming three-story hotel with an excellent location. It is a short walk to downtown Monterey, Fisherman’s Wharf, shops, restaurants, the beach, and the bike path. The rooms are clean, spacious, cozy, and quite modern, equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The building has an elevator. The staff is friendly, helpful, and warm, providing excellent service and great local tips. Parking is easy with options outside and in a plentiful underground garage. Free coffee by the reception is a nice touch. The price is reasonable. While the unique location is near a road and a gas station, many guests report quiet stays, especially on higher floors, though some note it can be loud at night. It is a highly recommended place to stay.
This motel is very well located. It was very clean and the rooms are quite modern. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are clean and it's a unique location to stay. 10 minute walk down to the wharf and 30 minutes to the Monterey Aquarium. The price is reasonable and I enjoyed staying here. It can be loud at night with the roads. Picture is the view from the third story.
