The Stevenson Monterey is a charming three-story hotel with an excellent location. It is a short walk to downtown Monterey, Fisherman’s Wharf, shops, restaurants, the beach, and the bike path. The rooms are clean, spacious, cozy, and quite modern, equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The building has an elevator. The staff is friendly, helpful, and warm, providing excellent service and great local tips. Parking is easy with options outside and in a plentiful underground garage. Free coffee by the reception is a nice touch. The price is reasonable. While the unique location is near a road and a gas station, many guests report quiet stays, especially on higher floors, though some note it can be loud at night. It is a highly recommended place to stay.
Rings smelled weird, AC is on motion sensor so if you leave and come back room gets warm. Overall not bad and can't beat the price for the area

Cons - walls are very thin, very loud outside so if light sleeper you will be woken up multiple times.
