“It’s rare these days when you get good service and therefore it needs to be recognized. I rented a truck from this location to do some minor moving of household items. Every step of the process went smoothly, from the reservation to checkout.Although when I brought the truck back the next morning I noticed I had to put more gas in the tank than I thought I had used. It seems you have to check the gas gauge & your contract to verify how much gas you need to bring it back with an equal amount as when you left. That’s normal. But it took 4 gallons and I had only driven 18 miles. Something was not right.So when I checked the truck back in I confronted the first person I came upon with anger. His name is Cory and I started out the conversation pretty aggressively.In a matter of moments, Cory calmly explained to me what likely happened, told me that I wasn’t the first person this happened to, then apologized, and offered a fair reimbursement for the extra expense I incurred.Just like that! Problem solved.If corporate U-Haul is reading this then you need to hire more employees like Cory. He quickly handled an angry customer and diffused the situation with a little reason. He didn’t need to give me a full refund, and I didn’t expect that, just make it right. A few dollars was all it took.Too often people skills and some common sense are overlooked when in the service business. So thank you, Cory.”

“Corey, the business manager, did a great job from start to finish on informing/recommending the right trailer hitch setup for our Ford Escape, which is def not a workhorse. He allowed us to drop off the car early and they finished before the pickup time he gave us which was perfect! Corey made sure our set-up worked on a trailer before we were told to pick it up -- and then was pleasant and agreeable when my husband requested it be connected to a trailer (a second time) so he could see & confirm everything was good to go in person. Perfect service. Organized yard and store. A+++++ all the way!”

“I came here because they happen to be the only location to have a trailer, which I was desperately looking for. When I got there everything was ready to go and straight forward with my rental. Everyone I interacted l with was very nice. I returned the trailer the same day with no problem. They have have every size of u-haul truck as well as trailer and I'll come back here should I need ( a trailer or truck ) for a future project.”

“Let's face it, nobody likes to move. And yet, we all have to do it at some point! This location is a treasure when that time comes. Or you need to move just one big item. The "storefront" is inside the Von's plaza in Mission Oaks. Vans and trucks can be reserved easily online. You can rent a clean, new van for as low as $20! The pick up and drop off are easy - vehicles are located in the back of the plaza. For drop off after hours, you take photos of the van and do it via their app. There is a key box on the backside of the store, on the door. It was so easy to do. Though, the app was slightly slow, so be patient. This is a virtual location. This make the process go more smoothly and get you on your way. You book online and the van or truck is parked behind the Curry Leaf. All in all, the process of moving or transporting items between places is made easier with the Camarillo asset.”
