“I have not enjoyed drinks and food here yet. I look forward to it. I have been purchasing wine and spirits from Bryan for several years. His recommendations are spot on and keep me coming back.
Today I stopped by to pick up an order including the special Buffalo Trace bourbon in honor of “Beef”. I can tell Beef meant a lot to him and his wife. They are fostering dogs because of their love of rescues. We lost our rescues in 2023 and can relate to love they bring to our lives.

“Can't get enough of this place! The selections are curated, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. While yes, they carry upscale products, they also carry some weekday-type wines and totally affordable and great cheeses. Dave, the owner, and Daniel, the cheese buyer, are both awesome. They recently helped me get a vegan Gruyere for my friend...how cool is that?
Also: this is a PERFECT place to get a nice gift.”

“Wonderful wine shop with a HUGE selection of reasonably priced wines, as well as a few $$$. The proprietor and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I ducked in to grab a bottle and asked for a French in the $30-50 range was was pleasantly surprised when they recommended a $32 bottle instead of a $48 bottle. Way to make a sale and get a fan for life! They also do tastings, at least on the Friday I was there. I can't wait to go back and explore their selection more.”

“Quick, generally kind and consistently helpful and efficient staff. Lines move pretty quickly. Sometimes there’s a security person in the parking lot, always friendly. I remain grateful for Trader Joe’s fair pricing. Their organic milk is 1-3 dollars less than other stores and they also have good egg prices. “This shop is the perfect counter to those larger and expansive liquor stores. Here you don't need roller skates to get from one end of the store to the other, and one isn't forced to cruise through a snack-filled labyrinth of salt and oil tidbits. Here I can walk up to the owner and have a pleasant conversation about a wonderful French wine at a great price point, and then roll right into a conversation on Pac-12 football. Brian is a very engaging shopkeeper and he is an outstanding knowledge source on wines and spirits (and the Washington Huskies). I recommend you check out his shop, have a chat with Brian about what it is you're seeking, and he'll steer you in the right direction. You can't go wrong!”

I gave her a bottle and price target with a few tasting notes and in under an hour, Arielle selected a spot-on assortment that maximized every criteria I provided. I am so appreciative of the care and attention I received and impressed by the wonderful selection of offerings in this shop. “This is an EXCELLENT European grocery store! You can find your favorite meats, canned goods, dry goods,cheese, candy, bakery items, wines, beer, condiments, and so much more! Be prepared to spend an hour to see it all!”

The bright sunny day and the chairs outside, made a friend and I pull over to have a glass of wine here.
It's a well lit, wine store that also has cheese, crackers and other beverages to grab and go.
Towards the back you can order a glass of wine or half glasses. We both tried different wines and enjoyed them. My friend had an organ wine, Esoterico. I had a red from Kid Sister. Our winetender/sommelier was helpful in answering our profile questions. I do wish we could taste a few before choosing a glass, but I do like that they have options for half glass pours.
I would definitely come back here and grab another glass or a bottle to go!”

“So happy to have this market in the area! This store is well-stocked, really clean, and well-organized. I walk there multiple times a week for small grocery hauls or just to grab a quick snack. I love that there are some Asian/Korean products too! I can stock up on fresh bread, tofu, snacks, some produce, household cleaning items, and grab a frozen treat for the walk home ?”
“Edit: It’s been a few weeks since I wrote this review, but I’ve had to reduce my rating down to 4 starts instead of 5 simply due to the insane markups here. When you compare it to other bottle shops in the area, many items are priced at around a 50% markup. This shop is still great for purchasing spirits from smaller or local distilleries, but I’d recommend only shopping here for the stuff that you can’t find elsewhere.

“My neighborhood store! Best in all of the town, staff is wonderful and they really care bout their customers. Not just alcohol but tons of necessities - comin here you can get the supplies to make yourself breakfast, lunch, and dinner, clean your whole place from top to bottom, and of course get yourself a beverage from a large variety of options.”
“I've now been to 2 of Jackson's affiliated liquor stores; each has knowledgeable staff and a good selection of beers and spirits. I go for the bourbons and stouts and am never disappointed in the selection. be prepared to pay a bit of a premium, but know they have some choices not found at competing local stores. I will definitely continue to shop there.”

“They went through a management change and let me tell you. OMG the prices are reasonable now, theirs no more bad Oder in the store, they have the best personalities, and most of all they ARE CLEAN. Not surprised that they are getting so much traffic.”
“Large store with a great selection! Some gems here with most bottles having very fair prices. They even had lots of Blanton's, Eagle Rare, and EHT Small Batch which are great staples and prices were great on those. Left with a couple bottles I am excited to add to my selection at home, and wish I could have bought many more. I will be coming back here whenever I am in town. Highly recommend visiting them and you will leave with at least something, if not a few bottles!”

“Friendly and knowledgeable help, a nice selection at multiple price points, and good value make this a very solid neighborhood wine shop. Would be proud to have it on my street, that's for sure. On this night I was going to a freind's house for venison and he pulled out two Mourvèdre heavy wines that were both great with the dinner. Not very expensive either. I even questioned if they were going to be the best wine I could get for this dinner and they did not try to upsell me to a pricier bottle that would not have been as good with the food. Integrity like that keeps people coming back and makes better long term value for everyone. Wish I found it everywhere, but regardless, very happy to have found it here, and I will return. Best, Paul”
