“Wow Jamie I hope you get acknowledged for this review! I went in October 26 to buy gas with my rolled coins. Her response to this was so joyful & accepting of my $5 of rolled coins that we laughed for a while. Then she was full of compliments & even threw in two half dollars to my payment, gifting me $1! I was so impressed with kindness and generosity! Thank you Jamie! I hope the managers appreciate your vibes!!”

“Baywoods little liquor store sells drinks and snacks and so much more!!! Play the lottery here, or get your paycheck cashed. Buy some smokes and talk to some folks who will make you feel warm and welcome. Locals shop here daily for their needs, and around here, they take it SLO, there's no need to speed. A few things that you might want to know are: 1. You can purchase CA lottery scratcers here with your debit or credit card. It is the only store in Baywood and Los Osos that you can buy them without cash besides Shell on Los Osos Valley road. Be aware that they stop selling CA lottery tickets and scratches at 9:30pm a 1/2 hour before they close in the evenings at 10pm.
2. They have real slushies!!! Red,Blue, and purple flavors!!!! SERIOUSLY!!
3. Monday afternoon between around 1-5 pm this place gets really busy due to the amazing weekly local farmers market that happens right across the street. This is the only time that you may experience a line of people or a wait time of over, let's say... 5 minutes to be rung up for your items.
4. This place is very dog friendly. The whole town is. So it is common to see unattended dogs out front waiting for their human to finish yapping about the current events with one of the friends they come across. A lot of times, they will be unleashed, and that's no need for concern.
5. They do cash checks for a small fee. There are requirements for doing so, such as ID verification. Also, you can get cash back here for a service fee as well.
6. Several days a week, there is a food truck that uses the parking lot. They set up at certain times. I definitely see them there during events such as on the weekend when live music is playing across the street at the local bar (The Merrimaker) and the farmers market on Mondays.
7. This store has an impressive wine selection. Well... this is basicially wine country, so that makes sense.”

“Half a block from the beach and pier is Cayucos' most poorly kept secret. This unassuming, back of a gas station establishment is an absolute gem, and one I insist on stopping at whenever I'm within a 15 minute drive of the place. Mexican favorites and burgers, executed to perfection and priced FAR below their worth. Get the simple bean and cheese burrito, walk to the beach, grab a place to sit, and enjoy what is likely going to be one of the best experiences of your life. Especially if you grab a cold beverage from the mini-mart at the front of the gas station (pay separately) while you wait for your food. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong...”
