“We had our wedding at Mavericks House a few weeks back - honestly pretty convinced its one of the best venues in the Bay Area for sub-100 people.
The views are amazing, the outdoor patio was very well set up and the ceremony site was spectacular - we felt like everything flowed really well. The photos don't do it justice - it looks even better in person.
Food was overall quite good. Appetizers were excellent. Main courses were solid - not exceptional - but more than did the job.
The team was highly professional - Brittani was very communicative leading up to the wedding, and the day went off without a hitch.”
“Recently I got to photograph a wedding at historic Kohl Mansion.Its stunning features makes it truly stand out. From the Tudor style mansion, to the 40-acres of oak woodland surrounding the property this place is a plus for any wedding and a dream as a photographer. The Staff did a great job at executing the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your wedding at!”

“We came to the South San Francisco Event Center for my brother’s graduation party after looking at a few other venues. We met with Judy who instantly understood our needs and vision for our event. She was extremely welcoming and understanding from the beginning. Throughout the event process and party itself, Judy was easily accessible for communication, immediately answered any questions we had and jumped to fix any issues we had within minutes of notification. The staff at the event center were also extremely helpful, supportive and friendly which only allowed our party to continue smoother. We are incredibly grateful to Judy and her staff for providing us a stress free and easy process and allowing us to create such a memorable event. “I decided to host my baby shower at Pedro point and I'm so glad I chose this location! Camille was responsive from the beginning, was always available to provide information and answer questions. Our event was for approximately 70 people and this space was perfect! Although capacity is 100. Comes with tables and chairs that you have to set up and put away. For the price compared to other venues around town, it was absolutely worth it! The ceiling always has little twinkle lights which adds to the mood. There is a kitchen set up with fridge and sink. We had food catered and the long bar was a perfect place. We had a great time, would highly recommend throwing your event there!”

“One the best room I ever been! We rented this room our New Year Church service! We were able to have church in first part and we were able to have 400+ people in that room. We had a new year dancing time to celebrate the new year! The place has a bar area where we were able to serve water and soda! It also had a kitchen where we were able to cook food for over 400 people! There was a dance floor area and the wall decoration as you can see in those picture was very beautiful! I will recommend anyone to rent this place for any events”
“It would have helped to get some sort of an introduction, maybe 5 minutes, explaining how it works. The kids had never done it before, so they don't even know what to expect; and likewise, as parents, e.g. that there's a printer and that the results will be printed, nobody explained that to us. Otherwise, the experience itself was great!”
“Went to a wedding reception here. pretty easy to get to and it's not a bad site for a smaller party. they also have security on site, which is cool and all but they wouldn't let the smokers take their drinks outside. Not a deal breaker.”

“Bougie as hell, but that is expected given that it is the Ritz Carlton. The staff was awesome though, very tentative to all our needs while we were there. The guys working in the valet were awesome and very polite as well.”
“The downside is that play often takes more than 5 hours on weekend afternoons, but it is a golf course with a beautiful 6th hole overlooking the Crystal Spring area.
And there's a friendly employee named Bobby. I didn't want to go because the staff was rude, but Bobby made me feel better, so I kept going. We are grateful to have Bobby working at Crystal Springs Golf Course.”

“I went here for Valentine's Day and the experience was fabulous. The attentive service was superb and the Filipino lady who greeted us was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich, one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time. Also, the Korean steak had lots of flavor and was delicious. We ended the meal with the lava cake which added the perfect touch. Of course, we will be back again! Thanks for the great meal!”

“We stayed here for our honeymoon 10 years ago, and after a few years we had kids and stayed here with our kids. It's close to the airport, not far from downtown, it's quiet, and the staff was friendly. Parking is also convenient. :)”
“If I were to stay in San Francisco again? I would go out of my way to stay here at the Holiday Inn Express (SFO North).
Before I even booked my stay, I called the front desk numerous times to confirm details regarding rates, location, shuttle, and more. I received nothing but great information with a warmth found usually at hotels that cost double the price that this Holiday Inn will run you. I confirmed my reservation and was picked up by the free hotel shuttle at the exact time advertised.
Once I arrived, Leah and another amazing front desk agent helped me check in. They were seriously so kind and helpful! Once done with that, I made my way into my room which I found impeccably clean. I was honestly really impressed with this.
They also let you stow your bags for the day whole you explore the city and always find a way to work with you. Not every hotel will go the extra steps the staff at Holiday Inn Express SFO North did for me, so rest assured that you’ll be taken care of.”

“The hotel is very small (11 rooms) and is simply wonderful. The staff is amazing. Upon checking in, we received 2 snickerdoodle cookies— soft and delicious and a latte! The staff person showed us how to get to the walking trail and the ocean. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel is 6 miles north of Half Moon Bay and is perfect for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!”
