“I received the best service last Saturday. I didn't catch his name but on the receipt it says Kieth. We are familiar with how to paint but not all the different types to choose from. Kieth took time to explain to us all the different finishes and helped us pick the paint to gave us the results we were looking for. He didn't try to up sale or sale us too much paint. Excellent service and for a great value. We were able to finish our project and love the results!”
“Holy moly, Kristin Montoya knows her colors! We are beginning a renovation and I was absolutely lost about what color tiles, quartz, backsplash, etc to choose. I came in here and spent an hour with Kristin and walked out with an interior and exterior paint palette that would make even the Property Brothers jealous! Kristin is calm, has an exceptional style sense, and is incredibly helpful. “South Bay Paints is my go to store now for picking a new color and getting consulting help. Been here couple of times and every time I'm left impressed by how helpful the associates are and what a keen eye they have for nuances of the colors and they always come up with great recommendations. This time I went to the store for wood stains. Nick was super helpful. He went above and beyond and not only educated me on the options but also offered to paint some swatches for free so I could take home and compare. We were at closing time and in spite of that Nick was very patient and did not hurry us. He prepped the wooden piece we took, stained multiple samples and even went and gave it the top coat so we get the actual feel. Superlative customer service. I live in south san jose. There are other stores closer to home, but South Bay Paints and their associates make my trip worth it, each and every time.”
“Friendly staff and well-stocked with the different paint types, including Aura, a flat finish paint for wet areas. You no longer have to have shiny walls in your bathroom Layout feels more catered to the pro, but they are happy to help out everyone. Parking in the back, bit the lot is pretty small.”

“I had been looking for some Superdeck stain by Duckback. Went to two different ACE hardware stores, and to a Sherwin Williams store in Woodside. Nobody had this in stock, and they couldn't tell me where to find it either. The Sherwin Williams in Mountain View came to the rescue! Sean, the manager, explained that Duckback had been bought by Sherwin Williams, and picked out the equivalent product for me. He also helped me pick the right paint roller for the stain Excellent customer service, a very clean and appealing store. There was no wait, even though they were handling multiple customers at the same time. My goto paint store !!”
