My daughter and I decided to have our first lunch out together with drinks, and they made the entire experience unforgettable.
I have celiac disease, so eating out can be stressful. We ordered the clam chowder (which I've safely enjoyed before) and a charcuterie board. I had brought my own gluten-free crackers, and instead of insisting I purchase theirs (which happened to be the same brand), they happily let me use the ones I brought. That simple act showed they cared more about making me feel safe and comfortable than making an extra sale.
When we ordered drinks, they checked every single ingredient to make sure it was gluten-free—even the straw. They use bamboo straws instead of paper, which I truly appreciated since some paper straws can contain gluten.
We also joked that chopsticks would make sharing the charcuterie board even better, and they went next door to get us some. That level of kindness and attention to detail meant so much. It wasn't just about great food and drinks—it was about feeling welcomed, respected, and safe.
If you have celiac disease or food allergies, I can't recommend CBD Oyster Bar enough. Thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond. We will absolutely be back!

Very pleasant outdoor patio. I enjoyed a very generous lovely beet/feta salad and grapefruit martini. My husband felt the of his smoked duck breast salad and a black Manhattan. Rosalinda ordered a chopped chicken breast, she had no complaints. Happy dog.

The owner took time to chat with us, sharing where they roast their beans and the story behind the coffee—which made the whole experience feel personal, not just transactional.
The coffee itself? Smooth, rich, and clearly crafted with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

64 Mitchler St, MurphysGREAT CHINESE FOOD! We came here to eat after visiting Calaveras State Park and were pleasantly surprised by delicious Chinese food. We got chicken chow mein, steamed rice, and beef & broccoli. The vegetables were nice and crispy, didn’t taste previously frozen. The chow mein noodles were THICC and the service was excellent. Wishing this family owned spot much continued success. Definitely come check it out!
