Andaz Napa, by Hyatt, is a very beautiful hotel in an ideal, picturesque downtown location, footsteps from restaurants, tasting rooms, and shopping. The overall stays are generally very good to amazing, with clean rooms ranging from relatively small junior suites to large tower suites with vaulted ceilings and separate living spaces. Many note the very nice, modern, and great-sized bathrooms. The food, especially breakfast, is excellent. The lively atmosphere includes fun Saturday night live music and dancing, though the lobby can feel overwhelming on busy evenings and some noise from events like trivia on the patio can be heard in rooms. While the staff is often outstanding, some feel the service is not at the level expected for the price, noting minor issues with housekeeping oversights, climate control, or bar stock. The building itself is not modern, with some older furniture. Despite these occasional pain points, many guests have a great time and highly recommend the hotel for its unique downtown Napa vibrancy.
