Great wines and Rob made us laugh throughout the entire tour. The cave system is quite amazing. Some of our best pics and best wines all weekend! Thank you Rob for making our birthday party fun!

Absolutely a must! Small group and a very informative tour. The wine tasting had a wide variety of 6 wines including vintage. Family owned businness with a lot of history! Wonderful experience!

My husband and I were in Napa for 2 days. We asked a sommelier at a local restaurant, "if there was only time for ONE winery, which would you choose?" Jarvis is the winery he recommended, and after visiting, I understand why. It's inside a cave, which gives it a really interesting feel, and also has a stream with a waterfall running through it. Of course, though, the best part was the wine. Throughout the tour, it was stressed by our tour guide that they do not compromise on quality for quantity and it really shows in the quality of the wine. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have an amazing Napa Valley wine tasting experience.

WORTH IT! We visited Jarvis on a recommendation from a friend - and from now on we will certainly recommend it to others. We started a 3 day Napa trip here- and wow!!! What a way to start! Jonathan was wonderful and we got lucky with a great group! The cave is SPECTACULAR. The wines were delicious and the cheese, nuts and crackers were a nice touch. Jonathan was knowledgeable and polite. You can tell there’s true passion in the entire Jarvis production. Wow. Thank you!

We visited Napa Valley for the first time and want to visit several wineries. We visited Jarvis the first day and 3 others the next day. We made reservations weeks in advance which is recommended. They were all different and all had their pros and cons. Jarvis was very unique with the winery underground. It was very classy and upscale. The wines were very good but also out of our price range. Our tour guide (forgot her name) was excellent! Very informative and very friendly. This was our favorite wine tour and the most unique. Highly recommend!

Jarvis is one of the best wineries / tours we have ever been on. We've been members here off/on - no doubt about it - it IS exclusive and expensive. But it is oh, so worth it. This is an experience that is worth the tasting fee. The estate is magnificent, the doors into the caves simply breathtaking and the caves themselves are just..... there are no words. OK - maybe.... Magnificent. We have never been disappointed here. I don't know what was going on with some of these negative reviews, but for us - every time has been beyond amazing. The tour, the caves, the wines, the cheese. If you are looking for an experience that you can talk about for years to come - this is it. Ask for Rob - he's great!

This winery is at the top of my list for best wines, besides the cabs. The cabs are unique with the flavor especially the one with a jalapeño taste. Just not for me. All the other wines were by far my favorites out of a 20-30 Napa wineries I've been too. Tasting and tour is $150 per person. We had Brandon and he was very knowledgeable and informative of the history of the winery. Will definitely be back here.

This wine tour was very nice! It love that the whole winery is in a cave. The cave is amazing and very unique. I would have liked if we started off with a glass of wine, or while we were looking king at the barrels and machines we got to taste what was currently in production, but at the end we went to the tasting room and were able yo taste 6 wines. I usually do not like Merlots, but their Merlot was very good. The tour guide was very nice and informative and knew a lot about the wines. If you are looking for a different atmosphere while wine tasting this is absolutely the place to go!

Most disappointing of tastings. Wines were just ok, your was very cookie cutter. Caves were underwhelming. The waterfall was pretty

Such a beautiful experience! Loved the caves, the wine and the tour guide was so funny.I really would recommend the experience after having gone to many international wine tours including some in France, uk and South Africa this one was unique. The wine was delicious.Sad they can’t ship to the uk because the tax is so high is makes it impossible.Thank you Jarvis team for a lovely experienceFor those looking at the reviews thinking they seem low, it is because they are a small vineyard… don’t let the low reviews detract from the fun and beauty of the tour!

The Jarvis Estate winemaking facility is entirely contained within 45,000 square feet of cave tunneled into the scenic Vaca Mountains, four miles east of downtown Napa. It is not only a visual masterpiece, but a technical masterpiece as well. Due to the invariant temperature and high humidity level of caves, wineries have typically used caves for the barrel aging of wines. Jarvis Estate was the first in this country to tunnel a cave so large that it could hold the entire winemaking operation. With the help of chief geotechnic consultant Gregg Korbin and the largest computer at University of California Berkeley, William Jarvis was able to successfully plan and design the large chambers of this underground winery. As the cave extends further into the mountain, the chambers become larger. Pushing the state of the art, the last chamber could comfortably contain two full basketball courts. These chambers allow even the large fermentation tanks to be underground and out of sight, thus preserving the unmarred beauty of the natural outside environment.

One of the most beautiful wineries we have been to. Our tour guy was very informative and attentive to our crew. You get a very intimate wine tasting room with no more than 9 people with five different wines to taste from. I would definitely recommend this winery especially if you are looking for a mellow, private taste tour.
