Five stars for this location, four stars for RCU as a whole. This Napa branch generally delivers a positive experience - in case you do have to come to a physical location, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the line moves quickly. The main reason I'm not giving five stars is because RCU's new online banking aka "digital banking" is absolutely horrible. Sure, it looks nice, but from a user experience perspective, the old one was better. The old system was far more compact and laid out more efficiently, so you could see more information at once. Also, I have an issue with a vendor repeatedly charging my account that I did not authorize. They charge me $1 every month. Each month, I have to go through and file a claim. Apparently RCU has no way to block the vendor. Yes, it's only $1 a month, but it's a hassle to have to deal with over and over again. There should be a way to block that company from fraudulently charging me for something I cancelled, permanently. Also, if you're picky, RCU ATMs are sloooooow. If you go to an RCU branch and use an ATM there, it takes forever to load or process any transaction. Thankfully, RCU does reimburse ATM fees, so you can really just go across the street to a different bank, use their ATM, and be done in half the time... this has just frustrated me for years. Overall, RCU is a great choice compared to the big banks, and they have competitive rates on car loans, etc. I do like working with them. That said, there is room for improvement, so I think four stars is fair enough.

I have brain damage and have a few delays. I got overdrawn and had my account closed. I wanted to fix everything by speaking with a manager. Had to make appointment 1. I wasn't told that my debt payment had to be in cash. Had to make appointment 2. Finally paid the debt. But had to wait a few days. Had to make appointment 3. Then they noticed my ID is expired... I can't drive. I can't pay for an uber without a bank. So my relative is now out nearly $100 because of them not telling me what I need. I read one of the other one star reviews and another disabled person was treated poorly. I would hate to think that this is a pattern.

I went to Redwood credit union because one friend recommended me and I'm very happy that I did. Now I will also be recommending it to everyone. I opened my bussines account and a personal line of credit and I saw that they also finance vehicles loans so I applied online and they were very good , I went to the Napa branch and the staff is so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful especially Jessica Escareno who made everything possible for me to acquire my new/ used vehicle from a dealership , I took me only 2 days to get my check with the total amount of the loan . I was so happy . She took the time to talk to the dealer , she took the time to go through every aspect of the loan until I got it . If you need something go to her she's amazing or any of their team members . I'm 1000% satisfied and thankful Redwood credit Union for making my bussines grow !

This is an update to my original review. Although I don't agree with Redwood's policy about how they don't release my payroll like other credit unions in our area do. They did reimburse me the $99.99. I am extremely grateful and appreciative of that. They even reached out to me twice. They apologized and made it right. I will say that the customer service is stellar. The representatives were very professional and didn't react to the hostility that I was displaying. Thank you again Redwood Credit Union !!

Thank you Abigail Santillan who held my hand through a nearly one hour international wire transfer. I had never done it before and she was so helpful, kind and patient. Such great customer service and really helped with the stress of it!

Worked with Jesus who did not tell me the rules of an auto loan which caused me to get rejected. Would not have wasted my time if I knew the rules of car year & milage, but Jesus did not tell me these rules, so I was rejected

I love RCU, I have been a member for over a decade and have received an auto loan, mortgage loan and other services like a life insurance referral. They are flexible and offer many services to meet my needs. Customer service is local and terrific. So happy to have a bank I can trust.

I came in to redwood Credit Union to apply for a auto loan. I wasn't a member yet but i quickly became one. I worked with DARIA and i couldn't be any happier!! She got me approved the same day and provided the BEST customer service i have ever received!! She was very knowledgeable and quick to respond to all my email questions! It was a time sensitive matter and oh boy did she deliver!! I highly recommend anyone whose looking for any kind of loans or banking to come here! I will definitely be a life long member!! Thank u SO much daria for making this transition smooth, quick, and easy for us! We couldn't be happier!!
