“I haven’t been in awhile but was disturb by a review that to me is just untrue. Jay and staff at what was EZ Access and now Public Storage is run better and the most caring staff. Obviously the reviewer has never gone into the office and talked with the staff or seen how clean and bright the place is. Public Storage cares about making the place clean and safe and hire staff that are caring as well. Hats off to public storage I would give it a 10 if I could. Mr. 1 Star visit.”
“This store has some good deals. But a couple of times I caught the price on my receipt was more than what it said on the shelf. After verifying their mistake, rather than tell me tough luck, they had the integrity to give me a quick refund. Also, any time I have had a question, the staff never seem bothered and are very helpful :)”
“Super cute store with lots of great goodies. As soon as something goes viral it goes out of stock super quick everywhere. This store is a GEM with friendly employees.Go go go the prices are amazing. You will definitely find a nice little something for yourself here.”
“WOW, what an amazing employee NICOLE is. I was greeted when I walked in and had a question and NICOLE had all of the answers I needed. What a great attitude, personality and vibe she has and, my wife thought the same thing! If she's NOT a manager she SHOULD BE and if she is, she should be the STORE MANAGER or GM (if they go that high here). But then again, if corporate is in L A or local she should be training MANAGERS!!! I owned an insanely successful retail company that my partner started in 1967 and sold it in 2012 with 3 locations. We were successful BECAUSE of our people. When I would shop anywhere and run across someone like NICOLE I would steal them and make them a deal they couldn't refuse because we wanted to be the best. Most people stayed 3-4 years with the majority 10+ and a couple 35-40! When you have a business with the majority of employees like NICOLE you can't lose. If we still had our business we would get her trust me. If your people are the RIGHT people your customers will know and feel the vibe and be loyal to the business. Thank you to whoever found her. WE WILL BE BACK! :)”
“There’s always something fun to find here. They have high-quality products at such affordable prices that I lose track of time just looking around. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for the best value!”
“09/11/25 Daiso, 19500 Plummer St A4, Northridge, CA 91324 Good customer service from Lauren. She was very helpful. Although she was busy, she showed me where the items I am looking for are located. Thanks Lauren.”
“I love this place! They have so much variety of supply for the house. The main things I buy here are toothbrushes, body wash, toothpaste, trash bags, and school supplys.”
“Fairly good selection of close-out and near-expired groceries at very good prices. Produce sometimes over-chilled, but otherwise good. And the staff is consistently friendly & helpful.”
“I love this place.Very nice and cute guys that work here.I go all the time to buy what I need to clean my house There's so many cleaning products to choose from and my cat food for my cats. There's also things there that you didn't know you even needed. So for me....I LOVE THIS PLACE! ??”
“I have shopped at half a dozen or more Grocery Outlet stores in Socal and I have to say that this one is the most well run and organized. It frustrates me when items don't have price tags or are hard to find but I didn't have such problems at this store. Kudos to the owners and staff.”
“Great prices on new items from kitchen and bath to clothes and makeup. I am usually a thrift shop shopping kind of girl, mostly because of the prices and unique funds. However I was happily surprised when I stumbled upon DD’s discount store! I thought it was a thrift store but it’s actually a store similar to Burlington or Ross, but IMO with more options and better prices. I was looking specifically for something to put in my shower to hold all those bottles. I did find it, and also walked out with new sheets, window curtains and a cute tank top all very affordable!”
“Lots of stuff and the prices are fair. Definitely recommend if you are into crafting. Has a decent amount of paints, beads, stickers, glues, and other crafting items.”
“Brand name duffel bags. The selection was good and some items were significantly discounted. The place was a bit over crowded and the aisles were tight. I felt claustrophobic and rushed out of there.”
“Apparently Marshall's is considered the store for designer and name brand clothing and accessories but Ross has much more we'll known and desirable merchandise. Nike, Adidas, Michael Kors at half or third off retail price. Some Ross stores carry designer sunglasses like Gucci. Chanel, Versace and many other designers for insanely low prices. Skip Marshall's or TJ Maxx and go to your local Ross you won't be disappointed.”
“Very clean store , a variety of options , there fridges have good snacks $1-$5 deals. There seasonal stuff is really cute but you have to get it before its gone . Lots of parking. But the lines can get a bit long with only 1 cashier . Best to go before the 5pm rush .”
“This is the best store in the Valley since Jasmin started managing there. They always have full stock and I drive to this store from North Hollywood because everything about this location is superior including the roomy parking lot! Thank you dollar tree and Jasmine for providing the best, cleanest, high end maintained Dollar Tree Store in the Valley. We appreciate you!”
“I like it but the prices are mostly all the time over a dollar and then I think like "what's the point" you know? But I like how there are Takis at the front of the store once you enter it.”
“The ladies there are super nice andHelpful I went to pick up my orders for my daughter party they mess up on one thing but were super helpful to correct their mistake asap!. I will be coming back again!. I am in love with my baby girl centerpieces ?”
“My favorite store. Start here first to stretch your budget wisely. Its a clean environment. Shelves are stocked with many beatiful items. Full selection of cleaning products. No freezer cases is the only draw back. Wish they carried frozen foods. I have a few favorite frozen foods I can't get. That I'd love to have. Employee's are very nice here.”
“Great Experience at Five Below! Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing during my visit. She was extremely helpful, very kind, and went out of her way to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Her positive attitude and friendliness made the whole experience better. Customer service like hers truly stands out, and she represents Five Below very well. Thank you, Katlyn, for being so great!”
“Love this place but it was a hot day when I went, and they have no kind of air conditioning or Fan's and I'm pretty sure that's why the workers have such bad attitudes other than that I'll be shopping there again soon!!!”
“I stopped by this Dollar Tree store with my wife tonight because we were nearby grabbing dinner and she remember that she needed to get some birthday cards. There was plenty of parking when we came so I got a spot right in the front. When we walked inside, the store follows the same layout like any other Dollar Tree store so the greeting and birthday cards will be toward the right side of the store. While she was looking for cards, I walked around the store and went to the snack zone. The prices are very reasonable here, they also have frozen food toward the back. There was only one cashier line open tonight but that seems to be the theme at every Dollar Tree store I been to. The lady working tonight was very efficient and the line didn't take long.”
“I had a great experience at Dollar Tree. I didn't get the name of the young man who assisted me. But he knew all of the isles I needed for storage containers, utensils for my outing... Thanks.”
“Lilly is absolutely amazing! She is always a ray of sunshine and brightens everyone’s day with her positive energy. I genuinely enjoy coming to this location because of her. She works so hard, is always professional and kind, and consistently provides excellent customer service. Lilly is a true asset to your team and deserves recognition for all of her hard work!”
“Love is place just don't like when I go in and feel like I'm being watched it makes me feel unwelcome like I'm not going to steal from the Dollar tree really...”
“I'm used to the 99 Cents store but this was amazing. I got so many cool Easter things like cool toys, unique, Easter, eggs, etc. Seems like much better quality here.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
