“We were driving down from the Bay Area to LA when a tire started leaking due to a puncture from a metal sliver. We got off the freeway and this was the closest tire shop we found. They took the tire off and properly patched the tire and charged us the grand whopping sum of $25. It was a Friday afternoon after 5pm, and we were obviously a family in distress. They could have charged us pretty much any amount and we would have had no choice but to pay it. But instead they were a decent, upstanding, honest business and did not take advantage of our situation.”
“Had an amazing experience with American’s Tire in Santa Clarita off Bouquet Cyn. I made an appt online and when walking in the store I was the only person in line and helped right away- it was rare and I was lucky. I had my sensors check since my TPMS was on and learn they had all failed. Was quickly quoted a price and I asked about warranty and other questions. I was satisfied with the employee’s response. He knew & answer all my questions and concerns. So I booked appt to come back another time to get it done and my quote was saved. I was so pleased with the service- he gave me great confidence in what my car need to have done. “I can’t say enough good things about J & J Tires! I had a nightmare situation with a locked wheel lug that absolutely no one else could remove. We tried everything—multiple drills, different drill bits, hours of effort—and nothing worked. I came here as a last resort, and these guys handled it like it was nothing.
In literally 2 minutes, they had the lug out and saved me from what felt like an impossible situation. They were professional, efficient, and clearly know what they’re doing. On top of that, the staff was friendly and made me feel like I was in good hands the entire time.

“Called 10 places prior to finding this spot. The other tire shops didn’t carry tires for our EV9 but this place had it in stock and said they can fix the tire or change it in less than 20min. We were in and out fast and they were very helpful! Definitely recommend if you have tire trouble or a flat and need a change right away and are in the San Fernando valley area.”

“brought my 2011 Honda Odyssey in for a big timing belt and water pump job, and Daniel took amazing care of me from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, gave me a fair quote, and stuck to it — no surprises.
They even found a broken engine mount while they were in there and replaced it for just the cost of the part, with no extra labor charge. On top of that, they did an oil change and coolant service, all for a price that beat every other quote I got.

Calchrome does top notch restoration work and several of my custom shops and fellow automotive enthusiasts have complimented on the quality and finish.
So glad I found Calchrome as when I started the wheel restoration I did extensive research and spoke to many rechromers across the country and most did not want to even touch the wheels, or they only did the one piece rechrome with the disclaimer of they have not had great success with the steel wheels. Plus the majority of the rechrome shops on do not even touch wheels any longer and strictly focus on all other chrome parts and bumpers. So glad I went with the 2 piece restoration plus Calchrome was the only shop that even mentioned it to me.
It was a long 8 month process due too an unforseen delay but well worth the wait and cost!

“Living in a retirement community in Arizona using my 2005 Mercedes Benz 350 SLK for routine errands around town I damaged the rim on a front wheel. The only place that had an original wheel for that model was 600 miles away. Steve broke a set of four and quoted a price that included shipping. He told me it would take a couple weeks to chrome it and took a credit card no. and said it wouldn't be charged until it was shipped. Later I realized I probably wasn't going be home when it would arrive and called and arranged for it to be shipped the day I was to arrive home. CC was charged that day and the wheel arrived four days later. Bill at the tire shop in Tucson commented when the new tire was being installed, "Like on the show room floor in 2005."”

“I'm so thankful to have found Grand American Tire. I was driving from Bakersfield to Orange County, hit a pothole on the 5 and got a tear in one of my front run-flat tires. I could have had a sidewall blowout on the freeway at any point. I called two BMW dealerships whose service centers were open. One BMW service department wouldn't accept walk-in's for service and the other (BMW Sherman Oaks) was accepting walk-in's but told me upfront they wouldn't honor my tire & wheel protection warranty. Why? Because it was a Saturday (and they wouldn't make any money off of it). Thankfully I found Grand American Tire. They were busy but still took me as a walk-in, quickly retrieved a new run-flat tire from their local warehouse before the warehouse closed at 2pm and had my car ready to go in 1 hour. If I was going to pay out of pocket, I'm happy to give my money to the efficient and hard-working team at Grand American Tire. What could have ruined my day only turned out to be a 1 hour wait. You guys take pride in your work and I appreciate you!”
