“Purchased a pomegranate sapling and small blackberry shrub about a year and a half ago. The pomegranate sapling is doing very well and the blackberry shrub has exploded with growth. They have great thornless varieties and the fruit is very sweet.”

“I just love Armstrong Nursery during the holidays! And I was so glad I was able to sign up for their fall make and take class! We made a beautiful mini pumpkin with succulents. They had plenty of supplies and the instructors were all so nice and helpful! I need to be sure to keep my eye out for more classes. They were also so kind to have Starbucks coffee on hand for us!
Once I finished with my class, my hubby and I walked around and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful plants and pottery!”

“We recently went to this HB location to buy some trees to plant at our house and are very happy with the plant quality and service they provide. We were greeted by Ronnie and he is so knowledgeable about all the plants we had questions on. He also gives us great advices and options for our budget and needs. Awesome customer service! So we went back to get more plants with Ronnie and long story short today is our planting day. Carmello and his team showed up early and got the job done in no time. They did a very good job and gave us great suggestions. We ended up buying more plants today to make our project completed. Highly recommend them if you have a landscape project and want high quality plants and awesome service and quality of work!”

“We got off to a very very bad start with Harvest to Home. The wall was installed in December and within a couple weeks it was completely dead. When we asked for help we basically got the runaround. But why a 5 star rating? Because, when we had given up completely, the new owner Samantha called us and saved the day. She made it right.
We were doomed to fail right out of the blocks --- and here's a handy tip -- the irrigation of the herb wall was tied into the spray sprinkler system adjacent to the herb wall in the yard. That will never work. The herb wall uses a drip system -- so it needs extended slow watering, as in 20 minutes every couple days. The spray system runs 3 minutes a day --- and that isn't close to what the herb wall needs. Also, when it rains, everything gets watered, except the herb wall. So you need to be able to turn the spray system off and LEAVE THE DRIP SYSTEM ON. So, our landscaper installed a separate line, Samantha had her guy come and repair the box (it was a little wonky at first), and then she came out and replaced all the plants at no charge. It all looks good now, and we are hopeful! Thanks Samantha!”
“This review is for the young man who wears a cap and recently transferred to this location... I sincerely apologize but I cannot recall if his name... possibly Travis or James. I've only seen him in the customer service department. But anyways, I've been to this location twice recently and he is the only one who left a lasting impression/made me compelled enough to write this review (besides this other woman who assisted me during one of the kids workshop days). He has always provided excellent customer care in every way from his level of politeness, attentiveness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond in all that he does. This man definitely shows he loves his job and really cares about customer satisfaction. I honestly think this store would do so much better if he was slated to become a manager someday. Everyone else seems to keep to themselves or just stand there. He's the only one who acknowledges those who enter the store, says hi to people, and ask if they need any help no matter what time of day he is working. Thank you for all that you do and you definitely deserve a raise, recognition, or a promotion!”
“I have been a fan and customer of PBYT for a few years now. The owner is very knowledgeable and has a keen eye for detail. The plants sold her are of great quality and she also offers sustainable home goods! Her shop is inviting. Definitely worth my drive to get to her in HB.”

“I enjoy the convenience of going to this Home Depot based on the location, but if there is a Home Depot in the local area that will be out of stock of an item, Costa Mesa will be the first to be out of stock. Also, the buy more save more discounts online are not in the store, so it's better to shop online than in the store. I don't know of another retailer that competes so heavily against their Rick and mortar employee run stores.
On the plus side, the check-out associates are generally courteous and quick at moving people through lines. The floor staff in each department are a bit thinned out and often busy with several other people vying for their attention.”
“I called the Flooring Department to order some custom blinds. Molly, the floor supervisor was terrific. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and started my custom design. She actually was looking after the customer and mentioned a promo that would start tomorrow. Talk about great customer service. Molly is definitely a keeper. Home Depot take notice and give her a raise!”

“Great Nursery lots to choose from. Owners are super knowledgeable and friendly/helpful. BTW they recycle the plastic pots so dont pay attention to the labels and prices. You can either call them or take the plant up to the office.”

He went above and beyond: he offered to clean the saucer I was buying, gave me a discount because it had a small chip, and even used a Sharpie to cover it up! Brilliant move. He suggested I could touch it up with black nail polish if I had some, offered paper to wrap it in, and even delivered it to my car! Talk about exceptional service.
