My wife and I took a cooking class here. Luis was very knowledgeable, a great chef and teacher. FIank Steak with Butter and Onions melted over the top (with a torch???), Prosciutto Wrapped Melon, a Caprese Salad, and Vanilla Mascarpone Panna Cotta. So so good! My mouth is still watering. We definitely will be back.

Just took a cooking class with Chef Marc at Sur La Table in Newport Beach today for date night with my wife. Absolutely outstanding experience. Marc was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and delightful.
The food we made ... Omg .. so dang good. Grilled asparagus with capers, a goat cheese and onion tart, seared chicken with ratatouille, and a pillowy raspberry souffle for dessert. The class was $100/person, and the quality of the meal absolutely rivaled any fancy restaurant we've been to, huge portion sizes, and 2 hours in a fun workshop.
Absolute A+ experience, and I would recommend this for anybody doing a date night or a night out. We will definitely be back, and often.

NICELY PRESENTED STORE ! After doing a spot of shopping next door at Bristol Farms we headed in here. My wife has been wanting some more baking pans.....certain sizes to add to her baking pan collection. After a quick look my wife decided to stick with her plan A on Amazon !

I was recently gifted a cooking class and took the croissant class with Chef Angel & Jaxx. I loved the set up, everything was clean, and the break down of the classes made each step really easy to understand - the caramelized onions with gruyere savory crossiant was my favorite. But Chef Angel and Jaxx were really helpful and made the class a lot of fun and I really enjoyed all of the experience and can't wait to take more classes now.

We took the Chocolate Workshop with Gayle and she did a fabulous job. Easy to understand instructions and demonstration. Absolutely wonderful Chocolate Madeleines, Chocolate Souffle and a Chocolate Budino that was sinful. Can't wait for my next class!

Fun experience. My wife and I were gifted a cooking class. Class was for Thai food. We cook a lot at home, all kinds of cuisine. We learned one new recipe for Pad Thai sauce. Great atmosphere. Beginner's cooking.

My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day early and he decided to surprise me with the "Evening in Paris" cooking class with Chef Marc. It was an absolutely incredible evening and the supporting Sous Chefs that were working alongside him (I apologize for not getting their names) were fantastic. Marc and the team really made the experience delightful and they provided tips and tricks that really helped make the dish wonderful. I highly recommend this class with Marc.Judy & DJ were fantastic in the retail side and helped us reserve our next class with ease. I can't recommend this location enough! ❤️

Came for a class hosted by their executive chef angel. Could not recommend take a class from him enough. We learned how to make beef Wellington. He made a very daunting dish very easy with a lot of great tips general cooking tips. I had even asked him about an accompanying sauce after the class and after the class he just whipped out the ingredients and made it right in front of me! Great class and easy to find store. Highly recommend. Quite a few regulars said they enjoyed this location as well!

Signed up for a south American cooking class at this location. Luis the chef was super welcoming and knowledgeable, as well as the rest of the attentive and helpful staff. We made delicious cheese pupusas, and marinated steak with chimichurri sauce. The only minor annoyance during the entire experience is we didn't get to sit down and really enjoy our cooking. It felt quite rushed at the end to finish the meal and dessert. Overall it was a fun evening with a lively group.
