“I had such a great experience at Rainbow Piercing and Jewelry! The front staff were super helpful and welcoming, and the whole space had this really bright, pink, queer-friendly vibe that felt so affirming—especially refreshing for Newport Beach. It’s not always easy to find places that openly celebrate LGBTQIA+ folks, so it meant a lot to walk into a studio where you can just be yourself and feel safe.
What stood out the most, though, was our piercer, Rose. She was incredibly attentive and gentle, especially with my wife, who’s a bit more sensitive to pain and needles. Rose took the time to do a practice run, check in multiple times, and made sure consent and comfort came first every step of the way. That kind of care and patience isn’t something I’ve seen at other studios—it felt like the norm here, which says a lot about their values. We left feeling cared for, seen, and honestly kind of glowing.”
