“First time visit during 2024 Kwanzaa celebration. WOW! Who knew Long Beach had such an engaging dynamic art scene of Black artists! Painters, crafters, all had their works on display. Given the diversity of Long Beach there may also be displays of art from other Melanated people, and others, too. That night I was focused on the Black artists. Still, the variety of artists and art mediums was impressive. Once again, a treasure. A rare gem in Long Beach. It reminds me of the William Grant Still Arts Center in LA. Worth the 30 minutes drive from LA. When you go, buy something. Enhance your home with original art. Support local artists!”

“Great way to learn some art techniques in a small atmosphere. Feels very comfortable to be in there and paint! Everyone was very helpful, even for novice painters like ourselves. Great way to spend some time doing something creative. Recommend this for anyone! Will definitely be coming back and trying some of the other classes and workshops they offer.”
“My friend and I took the Beginner Mosaic class. Our teacher (and owner) Mina, was very knowledgeable and explained the process of creating a mosaic thoroughly. Having context makes any new craft easier so the how’s and why’s helped set the foundation for learning this new skill.
It was a small group so each person received direct attention with any questions that arose.
Everything we needed was provided and we had the option of grouting the piece ourselves or having it done for us.
I highly recommend this class! Mina is an excellent teacher and has a great sense of humor.
This is a great class for family bonding or friends who enjoy learning new skills.
