“I didn’t know I would write a review for USPS. Everybody was so nice and thoughtful. I walked in for a passport. Made a few mistakes, but was in and out within 5 minutes. Even took passport photo and staff made sure I like the picture. My nearest USPS has a bad reputation. I’m so glad I drove extra to this location. Thank you everybody who helped me out!”

“The best post office, because Cindy and the other ladies are always friendly. Majority of the time I get the clerk Cindy who is always nice about scanning my packages. I always get a receipt and she’s never refused me unlike the workers at the post office on Elliot street. They’re extremely pushy about leaving your packages in a bin. It’s too risky not having them scanned in and getting confirmation. Anyway, Cindy is great and so is this post office!”

I’ve never experienced a long line and the clerk is always super friendly and personable. They also scan packages unlike some other USPS locations for accurate and faster tracking.”

“Good service. Kris helped us out as walk-ins for passports (we got lucky the office was not busy). He was courteous, walked us through the process and took our picture. We were done in a few minutes.
This office was clean and looked cared after. It was worth driving a few minutes out from Downey. If you need to do a passport walk in or schedule soon, go to this office they do walk-ins M-F, Downey does them only Thursdays. When I looked at the website this office had opened appointments with in 3 business days but Downey office was like 2 weeks out.”

“Recently went to GG post office to renew my passport, made an appointment 1 week prior, Nannete the office postmaster was very helpful in processing my docs in a timely manner. It got really busy only because people don't fill out their applications correctly and that delays other people's appointment. Nannete tries to help people in the office as much as possible and answers questions. She's awsome!
I reccomend people make an appointment and fill out their docs before the appointment.”

“On my way to my evening class, I stopped by this USPS around 4:30 PM to send a package for the first time. I was second in line—nothing too busy. Since I’d never mailed a package before, I wasn’t sure what to do, but Mr. Chheng was incredibly kind and walked me through each step. He even lent me a pen, taped up my tag, and took the time to double-check my addresses—catching a mistake I hadn’t noticed and kindly fixing it. He seemed genuinely happy to help, which made the experience that much better. I’m really grateful for such a pleasant and helpful interaction!”

“I found my package had been shipped to the wrong address (sending location had put the wrong address, probably because mine doesn't show up in the system), and I was so upset since I wasn't able to go home for Christmas and this was my one thing to remind me of my mom. I should've gotten her name, but the lady who answered not only got the carrier to retrieve the package from the wrong location, but also made sure my carrier got the package and delivered it to me. I can't thank my carrier and this angel lady enough. It would've been an extremely depressing Christmas not having anything under my tiny tree, especially from my mom, who is getting older, and who puts so much thought and love into her gifts.”

This was definitely a positive aspect of my visit, as I was able to save time and complete my transaction quickly.However, when I attempted to use the package drop-off, I encountered a problem. The drop-off slot was jammed, preventing me from properly depositing my package. I tried a couple of times, but unfortunately, it remained stuck. It was disappointing to encounter this issue, as the convenience of a functioning drop-off is one of the main reasons I choose USPS for shipping my packages.Despite the jammed drop-off, the staff promptly noticed my struggle and came to my assistance. They were courteous and did their best to resolve the issue promptly. While I appreciated their efforts, it was still a minor inconvenience that could have been avoided if the drop-off had been properly maintained.I understand that occasional technical difficulties can occur, but it is essential for USPS to ensure that all equipment, including package drop-offs, are regularly checked and maintained to provide a seamless customer experience.Overall, while the lack of long lines and wait times was a positive aspect, the jammed package drop-off was a significant inconvenience.
