“My new favorite place! I got some amazing quality clothes (including the jacket in brand new condition: pictured) and Vince Camuto boots (pictured) for a fantastic price! Some things there are vintage and some modern style. I also found a 1960’s vintage Disney Pluto plush that is the cutest toy I have ever seen. The store has a good amount of things without being annoying to look through or push all the hangers over to get one sweater out :)”

“I have a newfound love for thrifting & finding second hand items so I decided to give Buck Lucky a try because it looked so lively and unique. I was shocked to see a wide variety of clothing items, seasonal or not, trinkets, and products made by local crafters (artists, jewelry makers etc). There is also a huge selection of stickers, pins, and even croc charms are available! They even have free logo stickers at the counter. The gal at the register was friendly and welcoming which made for a nice experience! I will definitely be back.”

“Lots of wonderful clothing in all kids sizes. The store is well organized, clean and bright. Our stroller fit down the aisles so I could shop with my hands free. I'm the grandma and that was very helpful as my grandson was only 3 months old and can be wiggly when he is looking around.”
“I've shopped here a few times. Owner has great taste, a bit eclectic mixed with classic leather bags and shoes. The items are pristine...everything is steamed and looks perfect, which I appreciate as consignment. You feel as if you're buying new yet know you're helping the environment. The great thing about consignment that I love is you won't be buying something everyone else has off the rack...it feels one of a kind. Prices are fair for brands she carries... My companies annual conference is around the corner, which means I need some fresh fits to look good on camera. The owner, Jan welcomed me to her shop and offered assistance should I need it. I already had 3-4 pieces I wanted to try on so she quickly started a fitting room for me. Once I shared what I was looking for, she went to action pulling pieces that I might like - she even pulled from the sale rack. A Chanel dress in the window is what caught my attention and brought me inside. Jan did not hesitate to remove it from the mannequin so I could try it on. In the shop each rack is labeled by designer so if you're a fan of Prada or McQueen it will be easy to find. There is also a shoe and purse section. After 30+ years in operation you can count on Jan to know what is on trend and what to pass on. Great first experience here, I definitely will return. Closed on Monday. Layaway options are available for 60-days. Park in the free parking lot across the street, next to Old Chicago pizza.”

I always find things here that I have never seen anywhere else. The owner is awesome, always friendly. I was so upset when I saw they were moving years ago but it turned out it was just next store. Breathed a sigh of relief and thanked the thrift store gods that I could continue shopping at Thrifty Hippie to make my home, and self, look awesome with my one of a kind finds.”

“The store is aptly named! My daughter and I enjoyed our wanderings through this shop of curious treasures. When I asked the store owner how he came by his collection he explained that he was a just a bend in the river and things found their way to him. If you have the time to peak into the nooks and crannies of this intriguing store you are likely to find a hidden gem!”
“Super friendly vibe and Fun place to look for something for both casual every day and special occasion for reasonable prices. Staff will help you if you ask like your favorite girlfriend, and tell you honestly what works, and what doesn't. I have consigned things here, some they sell and some they do not and I have never taken offense, this is standard for all consignment stores.”
