“Our son just started the school year at Heritage after attending summer school to help him adjust—and it was his very first experience away from home. Choosing the right school was a huge decision, so we did a lot of research and read every review (as you, reader, may be doing now). We toured many schools until we found Heritage.

On our first tour, Ms. Liz took the time to truly connect with our son and calm this anxious mother’s heart. What stood out right away—beyond any curriculum—was how genuinely happy the children were: barefoot, muddy, laughing, and fully immersed in play. Seeing how the teachers embraced our son and how excited the other kids were to be there spoke volumes. We knew then and there that this was the place.

Our son is a non-English speaker, which made us extra cautious, but the teachers have been incredibly patient and supportive. The school strikes a beautiful balance between structure and freedom, giving kids space to explore, imagine, and grow.

Heritage’s focus on outdoor learning and discovery play is exactly what our very active and independent child needed. From his first day, he walked into class with confidence and didn’t even look back.

We also love their app: we receive multiple photos daily, suggestions for home activities, the weekly plan, and easy communication with staff—especially Miss Becky, who is always responsive and kind.
