Inside the shop, customers can browse a curated selection of hidden vintage treasures and beautiful plants for sale, all at reasonable prices. The owner, known for their extensive knowledge of plants, is always happy to provide tips and advice on caring for the greenery. The store's mission is to promote a different approach to consumerism, fostering a sense of community and sustainability.
The business also hosts a Plant Sale Fundraiser every second Sunday of the month from 12-4 PM, where visitors can purchase a variety of plants and succulents. Free Oakland UP's unique concept and dedication to the local community make it a beloved destination for those seeking a treasure trove of hidden gems and sustainable living.
Buy one item and you get to pick another item for free. What a novel concept that deserves to be replicated everywhere! Thrift shop treasure hunters should definitely visit here. The store is small but that makes for an easier treasure hunt!
