“I don't live near this hardware store. It's a bit of a grind to drive to here. And there are other hardware stores closer to me.
But no matter what I need, I aways take the time and make the effort to patronize this place.
Brian is the man who has impressed me with his down home demeanor and helpful approach to treating customers. But, everyone I've met at this store are helpful and knowledgeable.
And if you have some time on your hands even the customers can be fun to engage with. I've had some customers ask me if I worked there!
Matt says if you need some help with solving a issue with a do it yourself project, take the time to check out this store. It's a cultural experience that will make your day better”
“Chris is always on top of everything when it comes to my oxygen tank deliveries. He makes sure orders are handled quickly and efficiently. “Last week, I purchased a pizza slicer from another store, but it broke when I attempted to use it. I came to Laurel Ace to get a replacement because I know that its products are sturdy.
Marcos, the associate who assisted me, not only directed me to the proper aisle, but, to my surprise and gratification, TESTED the slicer to make sure that it would hold up! As if this wasn't enough, I also told me that I could bring it back if I had any problems.
I ALWAYS get great service at my neighborhood Ace, but young Marcos is among the BEST associates who I've ever been blessed to deal with. You can NEVER lose by going to Laurel Ace, particularly if he assists you.”
“I made 3 keys at Home Depot, but don’t work. Cole hardware stuff found it issue, and made a key works.The original key is little bent , they can help made a copy key even the original is bent !”

“As a plumbers wife, we have been longtime customers here. The plumbing part selection is wide and vast. The selection of Kohler is outstanding.
My favorite part of the store however is the customer service. There are not many places that greet you by name these days. All are willing to assist you w/whatever you need. Let's not forget the FREE popcorn. Popped fresh everyday. (While supplies last)

“We purchased out kitchen cabinets, countertops and backsplash. They were very helpful and patient with us in helping with the designs. And their installers were 10 out of 10. Professional and were excellent. And they cleaned behind themselves. And did I mention friendly.”
“The guys that I've interacted with at Economy Lumber have been extremely patient and helpful. They worked with my oldest son to figure out what sizes of lumber he should purchase for his Eagle project so that they could cut it from larger pieces to save him money. They also gave him a student/community service discount. My younger son recently went in early at 7:30am on a Friday morning to get lumber for a school project and they again told us the most cost effective sizes and quality of boards to purchase and then cut it for him. I dropped him at school with the cut lumber by 8:30am. I know we were lucky that they were not busy that morning, but it was just so awesome that they could and did help us so quickly. I highly recommend Economy for any school or community service project.”

“Old style hardware store. Narrow aisles packed with things. I really like the nails and screws by the pound, or buy just the number you need. Closed Sunday and Monday, despite what Google maps says. See the picture I took of the sign on the door.”

“This is one of my favorite stores in Chinatown, it's a lot like the Ben Franklin shops of my childhood. They have great toys, crafts, hardware, housewares, accessories, and pajamas and shoes, and snacks! They really do have everything. We get our house slippers here. You can't beat their prices and the owners are pleasant.”
“All five of my stars go to Day from the paint department who helped us with more patience than we deserved and helped us recover a disaster on a stressful moving day. She saved our day for sure!”
“This place is a good business to buy from! They have a lot of light products and the shopkeeper was an expert. She helped me choose the right kind of light bulbs when I don’t know much about them. One thing to note is that although it looks like this shop is closed (with all the gates closed), it is open.”
