Very very unprofessional staff.We made the reservation and it’s took 3 hours to get our car. Plus we are booked car with car seats for our kids and they didn’t had any of it available, and they informed us about it in last minute. Very disappointed!!!We came from different state and it really hard to find car seats or buy them.Never ever come to this place. All people around us was also disappointed about how long we all have to wait. Crazy company ???

I don’t think I have had ONE good experience here. There is always something and not once have they hold a reservation. It is always a struggle to get the service I pay for. They really should just close this venue.

This place is so horrible. They constantly oversell their cars. They take so long to do anything. Expect to wait there 30+ minutes only to be told they just gave away your car to the person in front of you.

System down, no cars available after 45 min waiting… after loosing a good hour we had to find another compagny… we surely experienced better service during our vacation in California

They will allow you to rent cars that they don’t have available. I took an expensive Uber to have no car available.

They didn't have the car type that I booked in advance and gave me the option of a flatbed truck or pay $120 more to "upgrade" to a normal car. I saw them try the same move on another customer, but the exact car she wanted suddenly showed up when she complained enough. Rent from somewhere else.

This place is really depressing. Every customer is yelling and upset about unreasonable fees being added to their reservation. It took over an hour to get a car at around 10:30am on a Monday even as a gold express member with a prepaid reservatoin. Its super hard to get to the area where the cars are once you make it through the line. I called for help and was told I wouldnt be charge to bring it back an hour late, but they charged me anyway.

Beware of being scammed here! I was getting a car rental here via my insurance company and was told there was a compact car for rental. Called Hertz and confirmed that there is a compact car, they were supposed to pick me up to grab the car. 30 minutes into the pick up time, they called and said the driver went home but will send a Lyft. Lyft never shows up. I go there myself and there's no compact car available on the lot. I ask when would a compact be available and the women just kept saying NONE and that they have none in inventory ever. This is clearly a lie and I can see on the website that I am able to book a compact car right now. We're in 2023, how is it possible their system doesn't reflect accurate car counts. It seems that they are obviously lying to me trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible since going through insurance is likely a blow for them. Lastly, I tried to cancel before I sign the contract and the lady said I wasn't able to since the contract is already in place. Lady, I haven't even SIGNED the contract yet. I was able to cancel it in the end. This Hertz is very scammy! Be careful.

Terrible place very understaffed. The one woman staff keeps her cool I don’t know how. She can’t even answer the phone as there is always a line up of customers waiting in person. I’ve had to come into place twice because I wasn’t getting anyone on the phone. Cutting costs is one thing but this is totally unfair on those you employ

Veronica is amazing.I've gone there three times and every time I walk into that location, its like absolute hell on earth. Three phones are ringing back to back, two Karen's are screaming and breathing fire, and a homocidial partidge in a pear tree is flying around the lobby, threatening to kill customersand yet every single time, Veronica is patient, kid, helpful and cheerful. without fail. Flawless execution. NOT ONLY does Veronica need a siginificant pay raise, butI hope whomever has created the conditions in which Veronica has to manage that unbridled hell on their own never has a restful night of sleep for the rest of their lives. I wish I could give this place 1 star because it is a failure of management to make somebody handle that alone, but I am giving it 5 stars to make it abundantly clear how amazing Veronica is.

Make sure to check your final receipt. They added a $35 EV battery recharge fee even though their website states it needs to be returned at a minimum 10%. I brought it back at 25%. Wonder how many charges they have gotten away with. Shame!

The service was fine. Staff was very friendly. My suggestion is they should give some warning or advice to their customers about the car thieves in Oakland and sanfran Cisco. This area has a-lot of car thieves and crimes so when customer rent a car, they can be more aware of and cautious about their valuable items.

My experience was over-the-top fantastic. The woman at the counter was so sweet and caring to everyone in the lobby. She had everything prepared for me, handed me my keys in seconds and carefully explained how to find the car in the hotel's parking lot. The vehicle I got was crisp and clean, exactly what I wanted (7-pax). And then upon return, the woman who greeted me was also fantastic and kind--and also hard working. I've been Avis Preferred for decades and this Hertz experience was better than my other experiences by far. Just fantastic.
