Thanks Freddy for your excellent customer service! He was swift and efficient with addressing and assisting me regarding questions and an issue I was trying to resolve with another department within the company.I was impressed with the excellent communication skills in which he presented while assisting me with my issue.Freddy was communicative, polite, patient, and conscientious.My time was valued, he kept a pleasant attitude, he provided knowledgeable and resourceful resources, and he took it a step further to exceed in making sure my problem was resolved as well as making a purchase.

me and my 11 years old son went to the store to buy a phone for my son on September 13, 2023, around 6:50 pm closing time. we was browsing and asking how much the phone cost? The guy had picked the phone up. He said this one is good. I ask how much it cost he insist I give him my ID to tell me how much it cost I ask why is that he said once I put your information into the system,the price of the phone will go down you'll be able to buy it cheaper, it didn't make sense to me but I ended up giving him my driver license. He put my information into the system he was like OK it cost $141:99 I will give you the cover it will cost $20 altogether it will cost$170. Thank God I say no to the cover. I ended up buying it the phone for.$141:99 before we step out the store I noticed my son was crying. I asked him why he's crying. He said he doesn't like the phone so I asked the guys can we return the phone and come back tomorrow and have enough time to browse around and have him pick the phone that he likes they said no return even though within minutes we purchase the phone .since they was closing, we left went home the next day I read the return policy on the receipt. It says return the merchandise within 14 days of purchase I called the store and I asked them I would like to return it. They tell me no return again so I called the customer service for T-Mobile MetroPCS, explain the situation they told me you are absolutely right you supposed to get the full amount of refund and to go to the store and ask for the refund if they say no to call the customer service back again and have them talk with the store owners and I did that and I find out the store owners and the T-Mobile MetroPCS customer service they are in cahoots together to scam ,steal peoples money I was at the store yesterday for almost 5 hours, calling the customer service, talking to the store owners going back-and-forth every time I call the customer service it's always a different person and some of them tell me it is up to the store owners to get my refund back literally on the receipt it says you can get a refund within 14 days anyway finally the store owner said well if you want a refund we can only refund you $19 because that's how much the phone cost you give me the phone back I'll give you a $19 and the rest is for the service activation fee taxes and anything else at this point I couldn't believe it we had the phone l less than 24 hours we didn't use the service .everything sound like a scam to me out of $114 they only want to refound me back $19 .I could not believe it.. At this point, I was so upset I took my phone out and trying to report it to the customer protection service, The guy asked me if I was giving him a bad review and begged me not to give him a bad review all of sudden he pull out $100 out of his pocket and said here is the money just take it he will give me $100 back just don't give him a bad review it wasn't his fault. It was the T-Mobile MetroPCS fault after all this stressful five hours back and forth gave me only $100 back I gave him the phone back and he still kept my $41 and he have a nerve to say he will count his losses. He didn't lost nothing. He got the phone back and kept my $41 so that's a gain for him. I'm the one that lost $41 at this point . I was so tired and stressed out I took the hundred dollar and left they are very dishonest misleading, scam hostile business. I would not recommend this store and the T-Mobile MetroPCS customer service to anyone .please read the review before you deal with any business to save you a headache. thank you for reading my review.!!!

This place is so unprofessional. The manager on duty does not care about the customers, and would rather spend time flirting with his coworker. I was trying to purchase some accessories for my phone and ask a few questions about my purchase- like asking for the receipt- and then he yelled at me, then proceeded to call me a slur that I cannot bring myself to repeat. When I got my receipt, there were 4 charges racking up to $92 MORE than what it should have been! I'm starting to speculate that he puts more on the bill than we would know! After that traumatizing experience, I can proud say I now use Verizon. This place needs to get rid of that manager before they lose lifelong customers like me again!

They are scammers and they steal money, and I was robbed from them. I did not get any service from them, and I left without anything. On the third day, I found that they had stolen $87 from my bank.

deserves 0 stars. Service was terrible. I didn’t get what I came there for because even though I came when the store was open the cashier/owner yelled at me that he was closed. When I asked what time they open he said “just get out”. He proceeded to yell at me some more when I objected to being talked to like that, which is weird because if you have time to fight with a customer you probably have time to do normal customer service and sell them what they want. He deserves to fail in business since he thinks he is superior to the people whose neighborhood he does business in. He could’ve politely explained that he was closing early and gave me a time to come back, but instead he yelled and was extremely rude for no reason. Disrespectful from the second I walked in the door. And why is the door open if you’re closed? Go to any other Metro store and you’ll get better service.

A while ago I dropped my phone in water and went to this store in west Oakland. I got good service promptly and also a good referral to a mobile repair person that fixed my damaged phone. I only wish I had gotten a better phone because it was so limited in memory. I was offered a better phone because I thought I would not use it long, but it lasted a LONG time, but now needs to be replaced, so I was looking at reviews and saw some bad ones. My experience at 929 W Grand Ave was totally good. All good. May go back again today.

Do not come to this store. Merchandise is always in short supply. Upgrade options were lacking, I'm rarely satisfied when coming here(in emergencies only)
