Paul Marcus Wines is a friendly, sophisticated neighborhood wineshop in the Rockridge district of Oakland, California. We carry European and domestic wines, with an emphasis on distinctive French, Italian, German, Austrian, Spanish, Central and Eastern European, and Californian producers. We taste and personally select everything in the store in order to bring you the highest quality, most authentic, and best value wines from these regions. Because we are a part of the Market Hall, a European-style food market comprising independently owned vendors, we emphasize food-friendly wines. We're always happy to share our enthusiasm for wine and food with you and to help you select wines that will best match your meal (or vice versa).
There should be more reviews of Paul Marcus. The selection is significant and varied, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they have brief descriptions of most of the wines which I find immensely helpful.
