This is by far the worst facility operated by Quest. There's no proper communication and help for people. Especially walk-ins end up just waiting with no proper information or guidance. I missed appointment by a minute and even after waiting for an hour, no guidance on time or availability.

Great experience and friendly staff. In and out in 15m. I was a walk in at around 7:00 am on Wednesday. Luckily I was the only walk in on the list so got called in immediately. The check in kiosk was very easy and super fast. The staff were super nice and friendly. I almost didn't come in because the reviews weren't that great, but I'm very glad I did!

Needed drivers license and insurance card for kiosk checkin. Waiting room is clean. Had to wait 30min but the blood draw went smoothly and the staff was courteous.

Had a good experience here today- I arrived at my appointment time, checked in on my phone and had my bloodwork and urine done in 20 minutes.

Shady white worker who was rushing her colleague to kick me out in the middle of our interaction while I was still in the room. I walked out mid procedure. I am not subject to discrimination I don’t play those games. If I could give a -10 I would.

Thought the reviews were just bad reviews without real reason but boy was I wrong. Worse customer service not that it ever existed with Quest. They employ service, not friendly staff, not efficient staff, not English fluent staff. Just staff. I arrived 20 minutes earlier to finally be called up 45 minutes later to be told I don’t have a form, that I didn’t need to get an initial TB test.never again. Just don’t

I like the check-in process. The facilities are clean. The phlebotomist is effective and quick. However my appointments have always been 10+ minutes late.

I showed up for my appointment 10mins before as they suggest and when I arrived they said there was a problem with the system and they double booked everyone so I would have to wait 1 hour. My appointment was at 11am and they also said they close at 12 so there was a chance that they couldn't test me that day. The only option they gave me was to reschedule. I don't understand how they couldn't text me or email me that morning saying there was an issue and to reschedule. I show up there, I pay for parking and then they tell me they messed up?? So disrespectful to every customers's time!!

I really don't know what is up with all the negative reviews. I've gone here a few times and had no problems, with an appointment or as a walk in. Yes, they are totally automated now, so there is no receptionist, but the office is efficient and they have a board up which shows you where you are in the queue. I went in today, had an appointment and it was super easy. When I got there I used the link in the text that they sent, and I was immediately checked in. No need to do anything else. They called me right at my appointment time and I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. The only negative was it was a little hard to find parking today, and with the rain, that was a bit of a drag. But that is not their fault. My tech was efficient and expert at the blood draw and pleasant to boot. No complaints from me at all and I will continue to use this office for tests.

They ask for payment even when procedure is fully covered by insurance. Beware! Never opt to pay upfront. Ask them to bill through insurance. They present request as a co-pay that does not apply for doctor approved testing.

I would like to speak with the director of this location: 3300 Webster St in Oakland CA. I did not have an appointment but arrived as a walk in. I was told that I couldn't be seen by lab technician Farina N. because she was taking her last appointment. I asked he when was her last appointment time because on the website, over the phone and on the literature it says that the lab closes at 5pm. I walked in at 4:50pm. As a person who understands the importance of closing time, I wanted to know that time the lab takes their last patient. Farina kept over talking me and told me I was keeping her away from another walk in patient. I told her that she was keeping herself away from the patient. The whole time she talked to me she could have serviced myself and the other patient. Please train your staff better and honor your service hours that are posted. Zero stars

I made an appointment here for blood tests and a urine analysis. My complaint is not about the wait time (about 20 min) but the quality of testing and safety. I asked for a butterfly needle but the tech informed me they did not have any. Honestly I have never had a lab tell me that. I have very thin veins and when the tech withdrew the regular size needle she pierced the vein all the way through and I ended up the next day with a 3 inch by 3 inch bruise on my arm. In all my 65 years, I have never had a bruise like this from a blood draw! Then the urinanalysis. They did find elevated white blood cells but nothing else of concern so when I went to have the bruise evaluated at an urgent care clinic a few days later, I asked for another urine test as I was still having bad pain. There they found a very elevated white blood count, positive for nitrites, and a cloudy appearance to the urine, all of which were indicative of an infection according to the physician assistant at the urgent care clinic. I will never go to Quest again.

Only 3-stars because they seem to be pursuing a business strategy to make all staff work at 110%. All locations are understaffed with no reception/admin staff. High reliance on digital sign-in just doesn't work and expecting phlebotomists to do admin & customer relations is unrealistic and ineffective. Everyone is frustrated, staff and clients! What used to be a high-quality care environment is now only "adequate at best." If there were more competitors, it would be worth it to shop around.
