“I come here their pet exams and my dog’s allergy shots. The shots are the cheapest I’ve found anywhere and helped my dogs a lot. I’ve also come in when I need my dogs checked out for a reason and they’ve always provided good exams. The people are nice. If you go plan to stay awhile. Make sure you come in the morning as there is a limited amount of numbers for exams, so the early bird gets the early worm.”

“I cannot recommend this vet office enough.
I have a 5-year-old cat and a 1-year-old French Bulldog, and the doctors and vet techs have always treated my babies with the utmost care. You can tell that each and every one of them truly loves animals. I haven’t had a single interaction with anyone there that I wouldn’t happily recommend.
My dog is even excited to go to the vet; she gets so excited that it’s honestly comical.
Unfortunately, I’ll be moving out of state next month, and I think I’ll be hard-pressed to find a clinic that compares in my new home. Thank you to everyone at the office for taking such wonderful care of my pets.”
“My dogs Junior and Buster receive excellent care from Dr. Jameson. He's a super nice, chill guy. He doesn't try to upsell you a bunch of tests and expensive stuff you don't need. He always makes sure to get me the best deals on meds and lets me know about rebate offers from the med companies. As a jumpy and worried dog mom, his calm demeanor always reassures me.”
“Dr Pulgini and staff were great with Ella. They were able to look at her ears which are always very sensitive and were particularly sore, despite her loud cries of pain, and sent home medication to help her. Ella is over 15, and Dr Pulgini has been very knowledgeable about old dog issues and is very caring and compassionate. All the vet techs/dr assistants have also been great. The gentleman who checked us out was particularly friendly, outgoing and sweet. I have been very happy with the services Ella has received at Claremont Veterinary Hospital!”
“We’re so glad Cheshire is around! Our 8 y/o cat is skittish, and going to a cat-only clinic has helped us with minimizing stressors for him. It makes us feel good to know, too, that all the staff he’ll be seeing are cat people. The vet techs are so friendly and kind to our anxious kitty. Super skilled working with a reluctant cat (nail trim, blood draw, urine draw, flea med), and with soothing him. Dr. Atid is patient with him as well as with us; she listens to our concerns and has given us straightforward information and actionable advice. On our last visit, we decided to get some labs done, and the office gave us a breakdown of the costs and final review/approval before starting any services or procedures. If you’re a cat parent, please take your kitty to Cheshire!”
“I brought two feral cats I trapped last night, a male and a female whom I’ve been feeding for almost three months, to the East Bay SPCA Spay & Neuter Surgery Center, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Both surgeries went smoothly, and they are doing great!
The cost was unbelievably affordable, honestly, the best $100 I’ve ever spent. Scheduling can be a little challenging, but I’m incredibly grateful that this service is available to help community cats and make a real difference in their lives.
Everyone at the clinic was wonderful, kind, and helpful. I’m so thankful for all the work you do to help these animals. I will definitely be coming back in the future and highly recommend this clinic to anyone caring for feral or community cats.

“The BEST This is the best vet all around office clinic I have ever known in my life and at the age of almost 60 and having had many animals and known many vets. We recently moved from the East Bay to Marin however I will still take my animals to this vet office. Best most knowledgeable team of veterinarians best front office. Friendly and committed to good service best policies.. This is a general vet office that offers holistic options This team could also recommend some good specialist and I have other reviews for internist cardiologist etc.”

Went in and was taking care of right away. From check in to check out the process was smooth. Daizy is typically nervous at the vet, however the calm atmosphere put her at ease.

“The entire staff here was very kind and compassionate when I brought my 13.5 year old pup to be put down. Everyone was very caring through the entire process and the procedure was very affordable. The card that they sent afterwards was a nice touch. I highly recommend.”
“Everyone in this office is lovely. We were greeted with smiles, and of course, everyone loved meeting Teddy! Every person we interacted with was kind, thoughtful, and wonderful with him.
I especially appreciated the time Dr. Richter took to sit down with me, talk through all of my concerns, and answer every question I had. He was incredibly transparent and honest, and I never felt any pressure, which I really appreciated.

“We had Dr. Sawyer as our oncologist for our senior dog. She was able to walk us through our different treatment options effectively, and was always available for questions throughout the treatment period. We never felt pressure or guilt to choose one treatment over another. Even though our pup passed after 3 months of treatment, we’re thankful that she got the best treatment she could have to manager her discomfort and pain. We will always be grateful for Dr. Sawyer’s empathy and guidance.”
“Our dog has been seen by Dermatology for Animals, Oakland for almost ~6 years and we absolutely love them! The whole staff and the doctor are all very sweet and loving and has put in a lot of effort to keep our dog comfortable and safe while making sure they can examine him thoroughly and diagnose him. Even when we don’t have an appointment with the doctor, she makes sure to say hi if she sees us in the waiting area for a vet tech appointment. Our dogs health situation has been complicated to say the least but they have stuck with us (and continue to stick with us) throughout the journey. We always feel welcomed and have never felt judged and this makes it super easy to really focus on doing the best for our dog. We really love them and hope others can benefit from their expertise and excellence.”

“This is my first time coming to VCA. The environment was nice, they separate the dogs, cats, and exotics section in the waiting room. The exam room was perfect for my rabbit. I like that they do the exam on the ground as oppose to high up. My rabbit wasn't anxious at all, however, he does not like being handled. Dr. Chung and the vet tech, Dylan, was pretty gentle with him despite his feisty resistance. I did use the first time free exam certificate from the adoption center, but forgot the paper. However they were understanding, and I was able to email it to them post-appointment. Overall, I'm glad my rabbit is healthy and the exam went smoothly!
In terms of price point, I am quite shocked by the price of the exam and treatments especially the vaccines! Oh my goodness! My go-to vet clinic has low cost vaccines for 2 doses, while VCA charges $88 PER DOSE. Suffice to say, I will stick to my usual vet clinic. Thank you, VCA!”
