I will wait to change to 5 or 1 star after I install the system. Most parts said in stock, 1 said ship in 4 to 5 days. Ordered on May 25th and as of the 10th of June, still nothing. Email after Email and several phone calls. Same lack of response, finally got Email saying should ship on the 10th. But no call or email saying it shipped. Items that did ship were in 2 separate boxes and only tracking number for 1 item, then 2 days later second box shows up with no notification, found box just sitting on porch. With all the scumbags that steal packages you think they would inform you so you can watch for it. Reading other reviews tells me this is a common problem for them.

TERRIBLE Customer Service: I placed an order for a radio for my 1970, and received a call from a lady accusing me of fraud, she went on-and-on, that her software had flagged my order as fraud, I addresses all her concerns (flags) however she still continued to say that it was fraud and in a very condescending and rude tone she opted to cancel the order instead of finding a solution. There are other vendors that sell the same products "Custom Autosound" classic car radios, i.e. "RetroSound" "Classic Industries" "CJ PonyParts" TruckiD.com . I guess trying to support a local business sometimes does not payoff .

If I could have marked no stars - I would have. I ordered stereo equipment from Classic Car Stereos, we live in CA and felt it right to support a CA company. Should've read their reviews. They told me they ship Fed Ex, I asked them not to due to the delays, they said that's not an option, that's their carrier of choice. It has been 3 weeks since my order and I still don't have the $1,100 package. I have called a few times and after being told that they won't ship a replacement until they verify it is diverted back to them, and I agree, but they'd just use the same mode of transportation (Fed Ex) so my package would just get stuck again. No matter how many times I asked them to ship with another method, they said they will not. Three weeks and my package is still pending. Regardless of whether or not they can't control the shipping portion of it, until I receive my package, Classic Car Stereos have not done their job. The lack of empathy by their team is unacceptable. I do not recommend purchasing online from this company - zero customer support will be provided.

DONT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING HERE... Website extremely misleading "2 year warranty" does not apply to all radios. 6 months of use for $300 is all I got out of this system... Customer service rude.... too many other choices out there to purchase from.....why take a chance with this many bad reviews.... I strongly urge you to make your purchase elsewhere.....

Great customer service! My order was 4 days late being delivered due to pathetic FEDEX but Miguel to compensate me refunded me $50 dollars from a $300 order to make me happy, I'm def satisfied!

Buyer Beware.!! I would like to warn you of this companies shady practices I experienced. They state that their products are OEM specs and will fit directly as stock replacements. That was not the case for me when I ordered a stereo and speakers for my 69 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The products didn't fit and it would have required cutting/modifications of this all original car. I chose not to do that and took pictures to illustrate this. I returned the product in the original state and was still charged 10% of total cost of the order for "restocking fee" to return the items that didn't fit as advertised. Buyer Beware.!!

If at all possible, buy locally and do not purchase a specialty (classic) car stereo on-line. After 2 months, this radio no longer functioned. In order to return it, I had to pay for shipping and be without the radio for as long as it took to repair it. Then, of course, I have to pay to have it re-installed. The radio is a Custom Autosound Concours (Model USA-630). I can't say much for the quality of the radio at all. Most companies will ship you out a replacement and only charge you if you fail to return the faulty product. Not this company....they said they'd gladly ship me out a new one, IF I PAID FOR IT. Customcarstereos.com is fine unless something goes wrong (and, of course, the old saying is, "something always goes wrong").Won't ever use customcarstereos.com again.
