Inside of gas station has been closed and often rejects Navy Fed cards/cannot use ApplePay. Lame. Therefore you need a gift card to buy gas. So you need to go across the street to the MCX to purchase it. They are always out. On the rare occasion that they have them, literally NO ONE knows how to load them. Not only that... 98% of the staff, including a manager, are rude as can be. ...actually, they are too often overly nice (flirty) to the male Marines but mean to women. Get it together.

Can you say everything under one roof? That's what this MCX has and in such a huge place, you should find something for everyone. As a Navy vet from LA, why drive all the way down to 32nd St NEX in SD when you can just visit MCB Camp Pendleton? I sure did and am happy to do so.

I love the variety of things they offer from snacks, supplements, household goods, and what I needed a charging cable.

I love this little mart. It's not as grand as the one in new mainside, but it serves its purpose, and at least the Pavilion is next door. Some of the coffee and drink stuff on the side has been shut down still, but I noticed they have hot foods like Tornados there. Prices and the selection for most things are better off-base of course, but there are some decent deals here and there.

Overall the store is a decent store, I will have to say when it comes down to customer service, it's 50/50. Some of the staff can be very professional and polite but others are just extremely rude and extremely unprofessional when it comes to customers and to even other employees. It's pretty sad to see a manager talking down to another employee in front of customers

Once a Marine always a Marine! Great place to shop especially during this recession.

Yelp's info is incorrect:This is the Pacific Views MCX located in 20 Area (not 13 Area which is main side). Hours are 0800-2100hrs daily, except some holidays. (mccscp.com/mcx) There are multiple areas to pay and check out. The barber shop side single register line, the main check out, electronics, and garden. Jewelry counter only allows check out with purchase or if they pull you from the main line during extreme traffic. There's a handful of EV parking stalls, but no chargers. There are some DP/DV parking spots as well. And of course there's the brass parking which is rarely ever used. Lol I can probably count on one finger how many times I've seen those used. As for the MCX itself, this location has the basics and some frills. But if you're looking for a vast selection or something specific, this isn't the place. The uniform accoutrements wall, dear god. Never have I seen a set up like that--via manufacturer versus by product. Looking in two places for the same item is asinine. (I understand it from a logistics management aspect, but the end point of the supply chain is the priority here... so ease of restock and ordering for employees should not be the goal.) Never be afraid to ask questions. Case in point, I went in looking for rank. The rank needed is sold in singles or pairs. The pairs were sold out but singles were available; however, singles ran $0.50 more when buying two versus when buying a pair. My cheap a** wasn't liking that, and would have sucked it up, but asked if they could honor the pair price--and they did. (That said, I'm fully aware of the very real possibility that the human factor in this change altered the inventory incorrectly.) Anywho.... Last comment. They have "authentic" Louis Vuitton bags. I'm not a pro, but I've spent enough time researching LV bags and I'm fairly certain they've had some authenticity fails. I mean, let's use logic here... our community travels A LOT to places where replicas are made VERY WELL and we bring those back here. Well, where do those items go to die? Resale sites. That is all. Consider that.

The selection and products aren't bad, pieces are okay. Lines are always long and they tend to only have 2 cashiers. I shopped here when I first moved here but the customer service is always poor the cashiers are over worked, first day I shopped here a cashier was trying to go home and screaming at the manger from across the registers. I came back trying to return 2 sports bras I bought and went home to try on, I was informed afterward there is zero returns for sports bras.
