The Financial Aid department does not respond to emails nor call backs. They gave the wrong extension number multiple times to my financial advisor. Their website is not up to date with the current financial aid advisors contact info. They do not care it seems like.

They seriously need to fix things so that registering is user friendly. I have been trying for years to take a class here and every single time I end up at a dead end when I try to register. I follow all the directions and click on all the "register here" type icons but get NOWHERE. EVERY SINGLE TIME NO MATTER WHEN I TRY TO REGISTER.

Big facility for arts in Oceanside, I have heard about their acting programs offer here at the school, so they do host a few film festival ceremonies here, the down side would be a lot of walking around, long lines of people waiting in the heat as they still setting up the theater inside, the place was nice and all, just when they decided to turn off the lights and kicked everyone out, before things started to wrapped up, I understand that everyone needed to go home, but at least give people a heads up, so that they don't have to run out in panic mode like an evacuation, it's very peaceful and quiet at night, minus the darkness

Located in a peaceful setting. The professors here are amazing, great little library and support with classes. I began my yoga training here even! If students want to move on to UC schools it it takes some work, but I know many who went to Mira Costa then UCLA and Berkeley. As an adult returning to learn a language, I felt welcomed by all. Campus is safe from my experience, even night classes.

This campus is one of the few ATMs (Hyosung) that is compatible with Passbook. [That bank is closing, so I'm disappointed.] The other school is College of the Canyons, which I'd love to visit, but it's a little too far. What grinds my gear is the fact the parking. I should have used card, but I made the blunder of putting in a $10. I think I parked in 3B instead of 3C for visitors/guests. It's $1 for the whole day aka 11:59 PM.Wi-Fi is accessible, and the library is under construction. The noise would drive me nuts if I wanted to study outside, but otherwise, it is calm. It feels like a small campus, kind of like FJC. Palomar is so much prettier though. I really should have explored more, but not a student so didn't want to disturb anyone. A lot of doors were locked though.

Parking lot just beside the Student services and MiraCosta College bookstore. Beautiful campus and extremely helpful and kindhearted people work here. From the admin to the staff and the educators, everything about this place is magical. They say College is a place where dreams can come true. This is a college that helps students build their dreams. Whatever those dreams may be. And if there isn’t a path, they will help support you as you blaze your own trail to new heights of personal and professional development. The materials are affordable. The people are outwardly friendly and unbelievably generous with time and commitment to their students. The campus is beautiful and welcoming. The class sizes are intimate and allow for the students to make real connections with their classmates and teachers.MiraCosta goes out of the way to be a central figure in the community’s culture, social interactions and path to higher education. I’m a lifelong Advocate for the many benefits and opportunities provided by and through MiraCosta College.

Okay place. Can order your textbooks online and get them either shipped or pick up here. Prices are often higher than Amazon, but they also offer book rentals. Can also get supplies and tech. Friendly people, often busy.

Excellent college meeting space. We were here for a community organization meeting and the facility is clean, spacious, and has all that you need to conduct great meetings. The parking situation was great. The outside areas and paths lighted well. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The hallways were also clean and very well lighted. I will surely come back again.

Beautiful campus and they are adding on and building new buildings on several different areas of the campus. Tennis courts are great and have plenty of lights for night play. The library is huge with great resources and friendly staff/employees.

First semester and Miracosta and so far it's good. Everyone is helpful. However, reading other reviews regarding counseling I'm already aware that no matter what school you go to counselors aren't reliable and that no matter what you have to do your own research.

My daughter went to this college and now she will be transferring to a UC. Her professors were top notch! Her counselor helped her a lot in planning the transfer! Even though she did everything online bc of Covid regulations she was able to do it! If the student is motivated he/she will see a lot of opportunities starting from here!

The book store team are amazing people. Knowledgeable about item locations which make it super fast to get your things and get going. They'll go above and beyond to help.
