About Freeman Street Surf Studio
Freeman Street Surf Studio ( FSSS ) is a surf shop / studio located in downtown Oceanside, CA one block east of the 101, off Mission Ave. Previously known as the Modern Beach Supply / CRIME shop, the location is taking on a new chapter. Focused on surfboards from Thunderbolt Technologies, Surf Crime, and local Oceanside shapers. We also carry a wide range of fins, surf accessories, and select apparel.

I’ve bought boards all over North County, and nothing comes close to Freeman Street Surf Studio.
Paul is the man.. super knowledgeable, and genuinely stoked to help. New favorite board in the quiver, no question. This shop is on another level!!

Paul was amazing! My buddy and I came in to get set up with our first boards. He hooked me up with some fins and a leash. He sold my buddy his old board set up for great price. He is very knowledgeable and super kind. Overall great atmosphere and vibe! Definitely go check this spot out 🤙
