Dr. Daly & his incredible team care for your feline in the most gentle & professional way. I highly recommend this veterinarian to any cat parent who needs a vet for their fur baby. I wouldn't go to any other place! Go there once and you won't go to any other vet. Dr. Daly is fantastic!!!

Wonderful staff and Dr Daley was very gentle and compassionate with my 7 year old kitty. I am so happy to finally find somewhere I feel comfortable bringing my fur babies to. Prices are very reasonable also. Would definitely recommend!!

The staff here are wonderful and they create a low-key, low-stress space for cats (due to its smaller size, so there's only a small number of cats/people in the reception area at any given time. It is a small practice, so they have limited hours (none on weekends) and can't support urgent/walk-in cases, but they give excellent care and attention to all my kitties.

Don't bother. Wouldn't even make an appointment for my Sr. cat that is having digestive issues. Said they're not taking new patients.

If you have a cat, it might be a better idea to bring them to a cat specialist as cats are very unique and individually complex. The staff is so helpful and incredibly nice. Very fine people working here.

I will keep this short and simple. Not here to bash but I am here to enlighten you with my experience. I brought my cat zeus here as a new patient because he was eating fine but was losing weight. The staff was nice and identified a lump on his thyroid that could be causing the weight loss. They ran some tests and set me up with medicine to correct it. They also recommended that we get his teeth cleaned and that he would need mandatory 4 teeth removed and most likely more once they have a better look. The quote for that was $1899.29 plus however many extra teeth they decide to pull. I don't particularly like open ended bills and because of the amount of teeth they said needed to go, I decided to get a second opinion. I took Zeus to Banfield Pet Hospital and talked to Dr. Rydell to confirm what north county cat hospital had said. Turns out the diagnosis for the thyroid was correct and the diagnosis for the teeth was incorrect. Zeus only needed a normal teeth cleaning and one tooth pulled instead of potentially 6. Regardless of the procedure costing much less, my cat got to keep most of his teeth and is doing great. I do not recommend North County Cat Hospital.

I love this clinic! It was my first time here and when we arrived the nice girl invited us to the clean room immediately so no stress on my kitties in the waiting room. Also, the doctor and her assistance were so gentle and friendly to my pets. I was impressed that no necessary procedures were offered like in my previous clinic. I don't want to traumatize my kitties for necessary tests so I was so happy! Thank you!

I had taken my cat to NCCH several times since I moved to Oceanside. Everyone on staff, and the doctors always took very good care of my cat. When I returned from a trip on a Friday, I come to find out that Dooey minimally ate, moved his bowels once and urinated twice in a week. Typically when I return from a trip, Dooey will start eating again. By Sunday he still was not eating (not even the appetite enhancer was working) so I knew something was wrong. I didn't want to wait till Monday so I brought him to an emergency hospital (VEG in Encinitas) to see what was wrong. They ran various tests and couldn't find anything. Dr. Cain at VEG was excellent in explaining everything and made a few suggestions. One of them being an ultrasound in the abdomen to see if there was an obstruction. By this time NCCH was open, and Dr. Coty was very kind in reviewing all of the lab work and agreed the recommended treatment was correct. Nothing was found other than a very slight possibility of cancer. Given that Dooey was almost 18 years old and I had him all his life having rescued him, my thought was to at least make him comfortable and feed him through a tube to give him nourishment, since he lost weight. Upon inserting the tube, Dr. Cain saw fluid around Dooey's lungs, which indicated cancer. At that point I decided to do the humane thing and put him down so he wouldn't suffer anymore. Having put two other furry animals down and even though it was heartbreaking, I knew it was the right thing to do. He lived a very long happy life. I loved him dearly and we were each other's support companion. This review is for both establishments. I would like to thank everyone involved as they showed compassion, care, love and empathy. I totally appreciated everything. everyone did at both places. I received Sweet Dooey's paw print in clay and ink print from VEG and a sympathy card from North County Cat Hospital. Thank you for everything. You will be my go to places in the future when I'm ready to adopt again. God bless you for all you do!

My cat had cancer. The Dr was pushing to have the teeth cleaned! My baby passed 2 months later. I would never go to this place with my pet.

I was in need of a vet pretty quickly and my regular vet was unable to see me. I found North County Cat Hospital and got my cat in almost immediately. The staff and vets are so caring! My cat stayed calm the whole time. She was quickly diagnosed and given meds. I feel great about this place and they only deal with cats. I have found my new vet and am thrilled!

We have come to this cat hospital at least three times now and every experience was excellent. The vet and technicians know cats and love cats. Today we got to come in face-to-face with masks on and I got to meet Dr. Cody, who was Kind and very down to earth about pricing and things to do to help my cat stop peeing around the house. I very much recommend this business as I have tried other veterinarians around the Oceanside area and did not like them as much. I recommend this business and I'm grateful there's a place just for cat lovers!

I would like to give a heads up to the North County Cat Hospital for solving and possibly extending the lives of my two feline companions. My cats are 11 yrs. old and they were having mysterious bouts of vomiting, coughing, diarrhea and lethargic behavior, plus my male was overweight by 4 lbs. I had taken my cats to another vet; they ran blood work and a stool specimen but they could not really find out what was causing the problems. Then I heard about Dr. Daly at North County Cat Hospital who specialized in cats. I made an appointment with them and “Wala” after Dr. Daly inquired about my cat’s eating habits, wet and dried cat food brands. He informed me that what I was feeding my cats was in fact making them sick. He had me switch my cats over to an all-protein diet with absolutely no carbs. He gave me a list of commercial foods to choose from ranging is price to fit my budget and told me to totally eliminate any dried cat kibble, which I did. At first my cats were a little resistance to their new diet but within a week or two they were agreeable to the new diet. When they get hungry, they will eat.My male has lost 3 lbs. and he is feeling so much better, no vomiting, coughing or diarrhea. Both my cats have reverted back to a younger version of themselves, chasing their toys around the house with a livelier happy behavior. What a difference.Thank you Dr. Daly !!!!From a Grateful Cat Mom
