Oceanside Municipal Pier is the west coast's longest wooden pier and a most photographed landmark in San Diego County. It offers an amazing place for an ocean side stroll with stunning views and a charming atmosphere. It is excellent for a morning walk to watch the surfers. Visitors can bring a bike, scooter, or skateboard. Fishing equipment is available to rent with plenty of open spots. A former restaurant at the end is shuttered, but a smaller pop-up stand offers some food options. The pier is open from 4AM to 10PM, but animals are not allowed on the beach or pier.
Great place to fish, watch the submarine races, and chill.

The puer was closed the day I went but we went down the street to the oceanside harbor and had lunch. Cool little spot for a beer and some decent food.

Nice pier with a lot of action especially at sunset time. Nice place to view the sunset.
