I am so pleased with the grooming my little maltipoo received from Jenn. She listened to my request for the styling and reported back to me regarding some skin issues she observed. I appreciated her attention to detail and the kindness she showed for my little dog. Plus- he looks fantastic!! I will be making my next appointment with Jenn.

I brought my cavalier Zoe to get groomed and Yvonne did an amazing job. I've been taking her to petsmart for years and I swear this is the best haircut she's ever had! Usually I just shave her down because she's hot but I wanted to add a little trim to her ears, front legs, and tail. She was able to do everything I asked, even when we both thought we'd have to shave it completely if not cute. Little bummed Zoe didn't get a bandana when she got picked up but still really happy with the haircut!!

This particular location for grooming really needs to be restructured! Their process of making appointments, drop offs and pick up are very disorganized. They not only ignore you while you stand and wait, they deliberately talk to each other while you're right there arguing about who's going to help you. I should of took this as a clue to walk away but I was desperate to get my dogs nail clipped and teeth brushed; it took them around 10 minutes, if that, to brush my dogs teeth, file and buff her nails, clean her ears and do her anal gland expression. I found it impossible to do all that in 10 minutes but they claimed it was all done and without any comments or anything, gave me the paper to pay, almost $50 for nothing! I honestly feel they might have buffed her nails a bit and maybe wiped her ears but teeth brushed and the anal expression, doubt it! My dog is flat faced and they didn't give her water or tried to cool her down with them stressing her out while supposedly do what I brought her in for. She was exhausted, breathing heavy and panting when I grabbed her. I was going to ask if they could give her water but the girl walked out before I could look up. Don't take your dogs here for any type of grooming, the gal who I would normally go to, no longer works there and the groomers there now do not like their job and it shows.

like that they have more variety than Petco and I couldn't find what I was looking for at petco and here I found it right away! It was a muzzle for my puppy in training.

I am very disappointed by this location's customer service. Prior, I was searching for a product that was out of stock at my nearest location. It had stated that the product had a few left at this Oceanside's location. I did not want to drive 45 minutes to find out it was sold out in store. Therefore, on 7/18/23 at 7:30 pm, I decided to give a call to the store. The lady who had picked up the call put me on hold for 10 minutes as she was helping a customer at the moment. Afterwards, she had answered the call. I had asked if she could do a product check. With an annoyed tone, she immediately answered back "we don't have time for that" and ended the call on me. I believe this situation could've been handled much more appropriately; I would have been more understanding.

Every time I have visited this Oceanside location Rosemary the Cashier on duty. Any time I have had a question or need to find a product Rosemary directs me straight away. This last time I bought a no pull dog collar. When I went to pay Rosemary demonstrated on how to put it on my pup. She also recommended that I watch a couple utube videos on what and what not to do with the collar. In conclusion you cannot replace experience or train a person on "Customer Service" and Rosemary has both! PS she seems to enjoy her job and it comes through every single time I have visited your Oceanside store! PS the review may have a different name posted as the sender..my name is Deborah (Deb)

We regularly frequent this location for the Banfield, but we are able to get treats, toys, and other doggo gear for our pup at the same time! The store is always clean and the staff friendly. Appreciate the location being close to home too compared to Temecula.

I took Angel, an 8yo Bichon Frise, for a bath and haircut. She has had bath and brushouts every 2 weeks rotating between Petco and myself. She gets her face, feet and fanny washed every day after her dinner and walk. I am a retired RN and have enjoyed caring for Angel, a sweet lap dog. Her owners are out of the country awaiting paperwork to send for her. They delivered her to me with a new haircut 3 months ago. I decided to try PetSmart for grooming because it is closer to my home and I enjoyed meeting the grooming staff when I was in the store looking for a comb for her backside. The groomer who helped me took a comb to Angel's back and said she detected matting. I pointed out a mat I'd found behind her right ear and upper arm. Other than that there was no other matting and I thought she was exaggerating. Bichon's hair is tight curls and a specific brush is required. When I returned to pick her up she had been shaved with only sparse hair left on her face, ears and top of head. I am devastated as the owners will be when they see her. The store manager would not take responsibility calling it "miscommunication". I filed a complaint with corporate as this was poor judgement and extremely poor customer service. Why wasn't I called before the groomer did this to her? They do have a satisfaction guarantee so my $63 was refunded, but it will be months before her hair grows back.
