Jenia has awful customer service. Whenever she is my cashier she’s always rude and short with me. I’m not sure what I did to piss her off but grow up lady. Being rude to someone who says hi to you is a crazy thing to do.

I took both of my daughters to get haircuts, worse experience ever. My youngest wanted bangs and cut off about 4 inches of her hair. The hair stylist named Leah btw, I told her what she wanted, I trusted her, when she was done with my daughter I didn't know what to say, she cut off about 7 inches, her hair was uneven, she didn't even spray water on her hair at all and I actually heard one of the workers say she looks like Dora the explorer, and Leah was kinda rude as well. My oldest daughter also got bangs and a trim with another hair stylist and her hair was a little uneven as well. I later complained to Ulta, demanded my money back which I did get back and they told me l was no longer welcome to this Ulta in Oceanside.
I got banned for THEIR own mistakes and for emotionally damaging my daughter. So I went to Supercuts and they fixed both of my daughter's hair and they love it.

today i went in and exited feeling a everlasting feeling of sadness. i went with two young ladies, both requesting bangs. one requesting baby bang which were indeed not what we thought they were. and the other asking for bangs above the eyebrows which were then cut below the eyebrow. leah the barber proceeded to give us the exact opposite of what we requested. the two poor ladies left feeling an utmost sense of sadness and underwhelming feeling. they cried over this and were left wondering if they could even go outside. we then proceeded to ask for a refund after their underwhelming performance to which they responded by banning us from the ulta for their own mistakes. never come to this salon unless you want to leave feeling disappointed.

My wife stopped in there for the one product that she can only find at Ulta. The problem which requires giving a 1 star was at the counter with Cashier SOPHIA at store 135 when she demanded and required my wife's phone number and full name, we're only in the country for a while and don't need any rewards program which my wife said but the cashier again demanded the information and said that the system won't allow the purchase to go through without the information.
This is still the United States and you should be able to purchase an item without being required to give private information just to purchase an item.

Speaking solely on customer service.. Aaron was amazing. Ran in to make a return and Aaron was very understanding and gave great advice to help me find the right product. You can tell there is a genuine care about customer experience. Very thankful for the positive experience.

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. EVERYONE at the Oceanside Ulta location is awesome. They saved the day. Another location did not keep their word and we were scrambling the day before to find a location that could accommodate 6 hair & makeup appointments for the following morning. My family will be forever thankful for Mariela, Leah, Noriko, Valerie, and Ryelee. (Forgive me if I missed anyone.) They came in early to make sure we all got our hair & makeup done early and out the door so we could attend my nephews beach wedding. Thank you, ladies!!!!

I visited this store yesterday to pick up a few favorites where I met Aaron at the Chanel counter. I was amazed at Aarons level of impeccable customer service, product knowledge, sincerity, warmth and helpfulness. I cannot say enough good things in this short review. Aaron helped me from start to finish, educated me on the products and helped me to expand and inprove my skin care regimen. I think this is the best customer service I have had anywhere. His dedication to helping customers is amazing, and others were waiting to see him while hestill gave me 100% of his attention.I usually shop at a closer Ulta location, but will be making the longer drive to this location going forward to shop with Aaron. I walked away feeling transformed. Thank you Aaron for the assistance and the positive vibes. I will be back for more soon!

Never struggle with finding what I am looking for and the staff is pretty good across the board. I would say the lack of cashiers sometimes makes for a dauntingly long line and that can be a deterrent to have to wait in.

I've only ever been to ulta a few times but the last time I went was the most memorable. Aaron from Chanel took care of me and he, by far, has the best customer service I've received at any beauty store.
I also work in customer service and tend to be really observate about the little details. When I came in store I was really just browsing seeing what I could find for my clients. Aaron took the time to walk with me and asking me tailored questions to ensure I find the right products.
By the end of our encounter together I just felt like he deserved to know how appreciated he is! His service, smile, kindness went a really long way. People may not always remember what you sold them but they remember how you made them feel.
Thank you Aaron for being a kind soul & making my day that much better! Your service and product knowledge was a 12 out of 10. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making my experience enjoyable ❤️

Shop at ulta frequently. Employees are always helpful..... today though while checking out, the cashier could not stay off of her cell phone, which is ironic because she could not even use her fingers quickly to use the phone because her nails were ridiculously long... while I am paying for my purchase I am reasonable to expect undivided attention, and employees should not be on their phones while checking customers out . Good grief ..

I came in for a color match for some foundation and skincare advice and Rebecca was absolutely amazing! Super kind and they guided me on a great skin and makeup routine. You can tell these employees care about your wants and needs and don’t push you to buy anything you don’t want to. I highly recommend this location. I will always wear my SPF from here on out!
