Real slow workers; turtle 🐢 slow. Even with no or not many people in line, it’s still slow. I don’t understand how this is possible. With a simple line it can go for 15-20 min. It’s funny how the postal workers try to up-sell customers to stamps or things they don’t need in the first place or intentionally giving customers the most expensive options.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had mail delivered to three addresses from this post office and also a P.O. Box at this location. I’ve read all reviews here, and everyone is really stating their honest truth. I’ve experienced lost mail, disappearing packages and long waits…and even a less than super thrilled office worker. However, what I really know to be factual is that the postal employee who was fired recently was possibly the mail thief, and that issue is definitely improved. I’ve dealt with every employee in that location, and if I’m patient and respectful and somewhat kind to them, they treat me with the same courtesy. I love the small town feel and getting help from a human, not a robotic tech device, is wonderful and soon to disappear. It’s cool to see my neighbors and local community friends in line, too.

Said they could not deliver my medication that i desperately need because my mail box was “over grown” with plants and here’s picture proof that mail man needs to be fired I’ll be calling the post master

Horrible mail man can’t deliver for their lives no wonder usps is going under it’s a useless business with many many more better alternatives the people that work there are rude they need to close that place and clean house asap

It is unbelievable how incompetent these people can be. There are names letters and numbers used on the packages and they still manage to use the wrong boxes and deliver things to neighbors instead. God forbid they actually leave something at your door 10 feet from the mailbox either, that would be too much work, better to return to sender!

Brooks street Post Office is my Go to Post office. Employees are friendly and very helpful. I have my packages scanned to show prepaid acceptance and to show my customers that their orders are in the possession of the US Post Office and on it's way to them. I really appreciate the team of US postal employees at this location.

5 star for the tall Asian Manager and 0 star for the associate.
Today I came to the this location at 8am for some packages that would be delivered to my home later today.
I wrote down my 4 tracking numbers, and asked MICHELLE at the counter if I could pick these up.
From her first look at me, she looked very uninterested in helping me.
She walked to the back for just a few SECONDS and walked back to me and told me my packages had been out for delivery already on the field.
Those did not sound right. I walked away and just felt like there was something more to this interaction.
I returned back inside to ask what would be the best time then to get same day packages. I'd think 8am would be ahead of schedule.
Her supervisor actually was the next to help me. I mentioned how I can go about getting these packages. He was very nice and professional and went to the back to look. He took about 5 minutes and came back with 4 packages AND a extra one I didn't know about!!!!
Not forgetting to mention, before my 2nd turn standing in line, the customer was a Caucasian man. He got packages and a huge pile of mail from MICHELLE
ITS CLEAR TO ME SHE DID NOT WANT TO HELP Me for whatever reason or to interact with me.
I felt very hurt to be treated this way. I hope she understand how people should ever treat one person better than than the other ESPECIALLY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.
MAY HER DAY GET BETTER.
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHOULD BE NOTED IN HER FILE.

Postman picked up 2 packages feom my mailbox 6/1/24 they were never scannned or delivered! This place has a bad history of 'losing' packages!!!

Horrible service!! Mailed my Ca tax return by certified mail on April 13, 2024, never received by Franchise Tax Board as of May 29, 2024. Tracking shows USPS still has my mail in Oceanside. Post office employee said the tax board uses 3rd party courier to transport mail to their office. So courier lost my tax return. TOTAL LIE, comfirmed USPS delivers the mail to their office. Post office employee had the nerve to tell me it was MY fault for the lost mail because I only sent it certified mail instead of paying over $10 fee to mail it.
Totally ridiculous! They also lie about package delivery. I get a text stating package delivered but no package. Package turns up 2 days later. They want their stats to look good.

I had one of the best experiences I've ever had at a USPS location. Keely was friendly and pleasant and helped with a package shipment within minutes. This location is an older USPS facility but don't let it sway you from going in! I recommend going here just due to Keely.

Third time within the past few years that I requested a mail hold and asked that the mail remain in the post office for me to come pick up. Yet again the carrier decided to deliver the accumulated mail instead of holding it at the post office. But, no mail was delivered. Where's my mail?
