“This is a wonderful place to heighten your appreciation of the gorgeous Ojai landscape. Dan’s paintings are masterfully done and the intimate atmosphere of his gallery includes a small working studio where you may catch him painting. He’s more than just a super painter, he’s a joy to talk with, generous, and kind.”
“Stumbled upon this art gallery while walking down the street and I was awestruck. A truly serene and beautiful experience, the lady who was inside was very kind. It was so peaceful it almost didn't feel real, if I'm ever in Ojai again I'll definitly stop by”

“A breath of fresh air. An eclectic mix of art, from sculptures, ceramics, jewellery, paintings, drawings, prints, and hybrid works.Felt ever so privileged to interact with an artist and one of the directors of OVA, Valerie Sage Townley. Wonderful to hear about her practice. She paints on drift wood, the painted surfaces, and the material itself is so beautiful, and she was ever so helpful at guidance regarding shipment of artworks.Delightful!!”
“Set above Ojai, on a twisty road with beautiful views, the Beatrice Wood Center is an extremely interesting stop for anyone interested in the hand-crafted arts, especially pottery and weaving.
There was a really nice glass exhibit while we were there. Pans we were delighted to meet one of the weavers, who we interrupted at her work, and who was so generous as to explain her process and tell us about the various pieces on display. All of them were beautiful and they’re for sale! Prices were incredibly reasonable for such unique items. Time it right, and on your way back down to Ojai you can pull over at the view point and maybe at h the “pink moment” on the Topatopa mountains.”
