“Everyone has given this place 5 stars, including me! I often ride to Ojai from Ventura on my bike. I have a pannier that converts to a backpack, which I carry around town. This basically gives me the appearance of a homeless person. Which I mention because the ladies who work in this place have never treated me with anything but the highest respect. So great volunteers, as others have said. Also, though the shop is about the size of a living room, it has a really great collection of books, both fiction and nonfiction. I am about as likely to find a book I just have to buy here as I am to find one at the world-famous (and deservedly so) bookstore a few blocks away, Bart's Books. Bring cash (though they do take PayPal via phone app, I believe).”
